UNINTENDED LOVE - (MaNan)

Chapter- 24

The party was about to start. Nandini went to her locker and kept her books. Her phone vibrated. She opened her phone lock to see Navya's message that she is unwell and she is having a bad stomach ache. She will be attending college from next week. Nandini immediately called Navya but she didn't answer.

"What happened to her? Just now she messaged me and now she is not answering my call," Nandini thought. She took her bag from the locker which she brought to get ready for the party and went to the washroom.

Here, Manik was also getting ready for the party. He thought it would be a nice change. Last time, he went to college party with Alya, his ex girlfriend. She is one of the reason he lost trust in this world. He thought she was different but later he got to know that everyone is same.

Whatever his parents said is right, everything is transactional. And money is everything. Alya knew that he is not in good terms with his parents so after college she choosed Aryaman.

She was only with him during the college days because his mom, Nyonika Malhotra who owns that college. Now, he feels disgusted thinking about the time he spent with Alya. Everytime he tried to trust the other person but he fell hard on his face.

He looked himself in the mirror. His eyes felt on the photo frame which was hanging on the wall behind him. It was there in his room before he moved in and no one really cared. First day because of the drama he was tired to rwmove it and after that he didn't care. He kept staring at her pic.

He know that Nandini is different from others but is he really ready to trust her? What if Nandini also leaves him for her selfish reasons? He decided that maybe he is trusting her too soon and should maintain certain distance from her. But dont know why his heart keep on saying to trust her?

"Urghhhh... This is frustrating," Manik pulled his hair in frustration. He is in dilemma.

He will go to this party because she invited him and he doesn't want to be rude. After he explained his brain this reason, he messaged Nandini to send him the location. But his heart asked, "do you really think you are just going to the party to show some courtesy?". As usual he doesn't have any answer for that.

He got a reply from her. She sent him the location. Seeing the location suddenly he remembered his college days. He felt mixed emotions. He thought that it will be different to visit college party after all these years but now all those flashbacks of his college time came back to him.

After his graduation this is the first time he will be going to any college. Even though he himself is one of the board members of his college but he never went to the college. He usually operates all the work from the office itself.

And moreover, Nyonika handles everything from his side. She likes to be in power and in this case he doesn't mind. It is a win-win situation for him. He doesn't care about that college. All he cares about his music.

He brushed all those negative thoughts and composed himself. He can't let all those things affect him. He didn't come to USA for that. He came here to forget all those things and lead a normal life for few days before he go back to India and he will do that now. He will live his life with full of life. With this thought he left for the party.

Here, Dhruv was planning something for Nandini. He can't digest the fact that Nandini was living with some guy. And she even considered that guy to be her date for today's party. He brought some pills and carefully kept them in his locker without anyone's knowledge.

"You will remember this day forever Nandini even though you won't remember what has happened with you. You will just have a faint memory. I will make sure today, we will spend time together. Even Navya won't be with you to take you away from me," he thought. Clearly, his intentions are not good.

Nandini is the only girl who ever talked to him. He is usually very shy guy and doesn't attract female attention. All guys judged him on the basis of his looks and his introverted nature but only Nandini initiated the talk without any negative intention. She is a nice girl and he doesn't want to lose her at any cost. Even if he has to take wrong steps.

Navya was in her room getting ready for the party. She was not happy as she didn't want to go there. She knows that Nandini won't be there as she never attend any college parties. She want to ditch this party but didn't have any choice. She is doing this because of her Aunt. She thought that whatever she is doing, it will be a help for other people and this thought always motivates her to be positive.

She wore a mid length blue dress. Her hair tied up in a high ponytail. She wore a heels and waited for his message. He said he will be picking her.

In the meantime, she thought to message Nandini but thought otherwise. She can't mention about this deal with Nandini or anyone in her life. She usually never hide anything from Nandini but this is the only thing she hid and she can't do anything about this.

She got a message from him- "Come down. I'm waiting." She composed herself and went downstairs to meet him.
