you and cult have been in a relationship for quite along time,but you seem to notice his behavior changing ever slightly when your talking to a friend or two,sometimes hed get jealous just by you adoring a cat he even would provide you from going out of your guys house when you question why he never answer he would doge the question by giving you a question.
he might be a loving partner but that doesnt mean hes always caring at times,he sometimes would get fed up by his work at the church being a priest and a cultist isnt really a good thing for him.
sighing in bed youd look up at the empty ceiling remembering the words he had said to you this morning

'dont leave the house without permission,and dont invite anyone into the house if someone asked to hangout say your busy'

those words stuck at your head as you kept pacing through the bed not knowing what to do,theres not much in the house you can do as an activities,yeah it might be a mansion you both live in but he doesnt usually allow you to go far away from the main area such as the kitchen,living room,garden,laundry room,ball room thats what he had allowed you to go other then your shared bed room.
getting up from the bed you feel tired this was unusual for you,as you get out of the room you went to the kitchen to try make yourself some food out of boredem,taking the stuff you need out of the drawer and taking the recipe book you look through it trying to find something to make,soon a cake caught your eyes seeing it remind you of the good old time you and your mother baked cakes together sad you cant see her.
you slowly look around the kitchen to find equipment that require to make the cake,slowly find it one by one and you would start making the cake putting the flour,sugar,baking powder,salt, 2 eggs in one cooking bowl before using the whisk to stir them.
as time went by you finally finished the baking,now putting the cake out of the oven while you wait for the cake to finally baked you clean and made the whip cream now all you have to do is smear it all over the cake,before you manage to put the whip cream on the cake you heard the front door open revealing your partner cult covered in blood you looked worried you ran over to him to greet him
"d-dear are you alright?"
you asked looking over at his bloodied hand,his response was only a grumble as he took his shoes off putting them in a shoe stack,he perked up once he smells the cake.
he looked at you and tilted his head before asking a question
"did you make a cake?"
he asked calmly,which you nodded as you walk closer to him and removed his bloodied gloves you almost gag because of the smell of metallic,you would go over to the skin and wash the blood off of the gloves before putting them on an open window where the ray of sunlight was hitting.
he smiled as he looked over at you he would walk over and saw the cake you baked and the whip cream that has yet to be smear all over the cake he chuckled as he see you sighed over the bloodied gloves before you finally face him with a nervous yet warm smile walking over to the cake you smiled as you look up at him signaling that you want his help with smearing the whip cream,hed walk over next to you as he towers over you getting a spoon and two knife out of the drawer you gave one knife to him as you took a few whip cream from the clear bowl where you have putted the whip cream and smear it with a knife before looking at him he nodded his head as he tool the spoon and took a large amount of whip cream and put them on the cake before smearing it all over the cake,it covered almost half of the cake you both would chuckle at each other as you both continue to cover the cake with whip cream then adding sprinkles and strawberries as a topping on top.
smiling at the cake you were proud that you can finally bake a cake on your own messing up a little on the oven temperature,cutting the cake and putting it on a plate you gave it to him he would open half of his mask revealing his bearded face as he took a bite of the cake hed smile as he continues to eat more before finishing the slice of cake.
"this is very delicious dear"
he said as he scooted closer to you before giving you a kiss on the cheek with a whip cream leaving a mark on your cheek making you giggle as flick his nose making him roll his eyes.
"what happen at the battle field today dear?"
you asked him tilting your head,the subject made him quite unhappy as he groans
"its been worse lately love,but seeing your face after it made me much better"
he chuckled giving you another kiss on the forehead making you blush as you shook your head
"oh youre so cheesy dear"
you laughed as he laugh with you hugging your side
"but for real dear what got you with a bloodied hand?"
you asked still wanting to know
