Delaney walked in and saw the entire group waiting for them patiently.
"Was that a fun little worship session?" Araya asked and I raised both eyebrows. I was pretty sure that she decided to hate me then and there.
"Look, I just wanna say that I am not trying to upset any of you by being here. I was just given these powers and I found Justin and he recruited me." I tried to explain myself and Justin shook his head.
"I mean, technically God recruited you if we really wanna get specific." Justin pointed out and I looked to him in slight frustration.
"I...I know. But you know what I meant." I sighed and then Araya stood up and walked over to me.
"Look, anything you can do, I can do as soon as I see it so you should just show us what you can do and then you can move along with your day and act like none of this happened. We are used to fighting together and if Cain is really coming then we need to be prepared and we don't need some new chic coming in and trying to learn how to fight with us to slow us down. Clearly you're the one most likely to be targeted by Cain to betray us because you don't exactly fit in just yet so make things easy on yourself." Araya was being harsh and I can somewhat understand why. She was right. If Cain was coming, then I would have to learn how to fight with these people who had known each other for quite some time.
"Araya, we need you to focus your powers on being a force field to protect all of us. And plus, we are supposed to be the armor of God, and she's literally the Sword of the Spirit. She may be the last piece of armor but she's just as important as the rest of us. And seriously, when I say that her level of faith is insane, I mean it. We need her." Justin defended me and then Thea jumped in.
"You know he's right Araya. Stop being so mean. One piece of the armor of God can't function without the other, and there have been times where we could clearly use her powers and she wasn't here. Clearly we're missing a piece to the puzzle and she is obviously it." Thea added and then she smirked at me. "I'm Thea. I also call myself Sincerity. I have the perceptive touch and sometimes pre-cognition. I can also fly and I have pretty awesome tools that help me fight in hand to hand combat."
"What's perceptive touch?" I asked in curiosity and she smiled at me and nodded.
"Basically, I can read into the memories and minds of anybody I touch. I'm also the only one who has seen Cain before this day. Granted, I didn't know his name until now like everybody else, but it's nice to put a name to that wicked face." Thea introduced herself.
"I'm Jude, and I have Super speed. I'm kind of like the Flash. I also go by Avidity. That's what the newspapers called me." Jude introduced himself and I nodded.
"Oh yeah, I go by Sincerity." Thea added as she clearly forgot that part.
"I'm the Eternity, but the group knows me as Bryant. I have power over time manipulation, like we said before, but I'm also indestructible and I have super strength. Thea is the Belt of Truth, Jude is the Shoes Equipped with the Gospel of Peace, and I am the Helmet of Salvation. Araya is also the Shield of Faith and she goes by Fidelity." Bryant added information and I took it all in.
"And I have power over reality manipulation, mental manipulation, and I can speak an infinite number of languages. I go by Candor." Justin explained.
"And you're the Breastplate of Righteousness." I recognized and Justin nodded as he grinned at me and I smiled back.
"Anyways, we're going to come up with a plan hopefully tonight. That's usually the job of me and Bryant. If you want you can head home. It is getting really late. I wouldn't want your father getting worried." Justin expressed his concern and I nodded.
