Kaede POV:
I woke up, confused and puzzled with my surroundings. I then stumbled out of a locker in a daze but as soon as I did I fell onto the floor.
"Ahh!?" I yelped.
I couldn't even process what was going on until I felt the pounding and pain rushing towards my head.
"Oww.." I mumbled out, as I rubbed the top of my head.
Thanks to the pain I went from confused and dazed to annoyed and frustrated quickly.
"..Huh? Where am I? What is this place!?" I said, observing my surroundings.
I felt the top of my throbbing forehead and winced from the pain. "Yep, this is definitely going to leave a bump.." I thought to myself. I stood up from where I was and continued to look around.
"Huh? A classroom?"
This was indeed a classroom, but I didn't recognize it.
"Where am I..? What am I doing here..?" Were the words playing in my head over and over again.
"This may just be a dream! I just have to pinch myself, right?"
So, I pinched my cheek. But all that did was make my head and cheek hurt in two places instead of one.
"Okay, umm. Lets just stay calm and think this through."
I tried to remember why I was here but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't remember.
BAM!
"Woah!!" I yelled out, startled with the sound of the locker next to mine suddenly swaying and shaking, making all types of noises.
As I fearfully turned around to look at the locker as it slowly opened and..
A boy?
A boy came stumbling out.
"Hnngh.." I heard from the boy.
He seemed like a normal boy he was dressed in a school uniform. In fact he may or may not be a high school student, too.
He looked bewildered, and when he slowly lifted up his head...
"..Ah! Aaugh!!!"
He screamed as if he had just seen a monster, fell on his butt, and scooted back.
"Wh-Who are you!? Are you with those other guys!?!"
The boy called out.
"..Huh? What other guys?" I asked, confused.
"The people who kidnapped me!"
"Kidnapped?"
"Wh-Where am I..? What are you going to do with me!?
"Hey! Hold on!"
I firmly gripped his shoulders.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"..Huh?"
"Ah, I'm..Shuichi Saihara."
"I'm Kaede Akamastu. Now listen to me Shuichi.." I continued.
"Shut up! You're not the only one who's confused right now!" I said, upset about how narcissistic and selfish he was being.
"Ah, Sorry."
After I made him shut up I retraced my thoughts and steps.
That's when I remembered it. I was kidnapped too! I was walking my usual route to school when all of a sudden, someone shoved me into a car with some others. I shouted for help but no matter how much I yelled no one helped me. Everyone pretended like nothing happened.. It made me think about how cruel and rotten the world is. And then suddenly, I lost consciousness...
"And when I woke up, I was inside of that locker!"
"Same with me.. Were we kidnapped by the same people?" Shuichi asked.
"It seems like it.. But... Why me..? My family isn't rich and I'm no one special. I'm just a ordinary high school girl. There's no reason to kidnap me."
"Me either. I'm just a regular guy.." Shuichi looked a bit nervous while saying this.
"And this is a school right..? Why would they take us to a school."
"I wonder why.." I thought out loud.
I sighed and looked around. I looked at the windows and wondered why there was barbed wire around, blocking them if this was a school. I decided to just ignore it.
I looked at the boy and apologized for yelling at him and being so harsh to him earlier and that we should just stay calm and wait for whoever did this to us to just show up.
I noticed a door in the room, maybe that may help us get out of this weird place!
"Hey! I found a door! Quick lets go!" I yelled out to the blue haired boy.
"Ah! Okay!" He replied back and we both exited out. But then..
"Hell yeah! I found you!!"
"Ahh!?! What!?"
"A m-monster!"
The strange and large machine began cackling non-stop.
"This is b-bad! Let's get out of here!"
"O-Okay!" A frightened Shuichi said.
As me and Shuichi began to run off we heard as the machine called out for us and told us to wait but we didn't listen.
We ran while we heard the huge gadget chase after us.
I almost bumped into another one and yelped.
"Over here!" Shuichi yelled out.
I then began to follow him.
As we frantically rushed over and into the door we saw something we never expected to see.
