Things are about to... change

Author: Haven't updated in a long time, I know. This chapter was actually nearly finished way earlier, it just had to undergo some corrections.

As to why I didn't release it earlier if it was complete incase you ask?

It's simple: I forgot.

Anyways, on with the story!

Date: The 1940's
Time: 12:20

Dresden was not exactly pleased, a emergency had occured at the Sakura Empire and now he, along with Z1, Z23 and Köln under the command of Prinz Eugen were sent to chase a few Azur Lane shipgirls that had stolen... something important.

Dresden: *sighs* Great...

Sakura Empire, a short time ago:

In the Sakura Empire, two masked figures clad in kimonos were sneaking around the Base.

Masterfully avoiding detection by both manjuu and kansen alike, they were going from cover to cover, looking as inconspicuous as possible when they did show themselves..

At the docks where supplies were loaded onto a carrier one of them almost slipped up, but was saved by the other one. Although this got the attention of Shiranui, who was overlooking the Manjuus loading up the supplies. Luckily they managed to get away, eventually the two made it to a rather small and unassuming cave entrance, which a certain green haired catgirl walked into.

The duo followed her into said cave.

Meanwhile, inside the cave said green haired cat discovered something she shouldn't have.

Akashi: Is this the Project Orochi ship? It looks just like a Siren ship... Is it really okay to build something like this?

Looking down at the Orochi's deck just brought her deeper down the rabbit hole she shouldn't have fallen down.

Akashi: Akagi? What is she doing?

Her question was soon answered when Akagi infused the Orochi with a black cube she had been holding.

???: With so much energy gathered, the activation of Project Orochi is imminent.

Akashi: Is that...!?

Observer Alpha: At this rate I'd say... One more, perhaps.

The elite Siren put her hands together and summoned yet another black cube from them before she let if float down to Akagi.

Observer Alpha: The goal of the Orochi project is not to create an ordinary ship. It's a... shall we say... an ark, carrying every wish across the ocean.

She stated as she floated down to Akagi's level and whispered into her ear.

Observer Alpha: Your reunion is soon.

Akagi: Leave this place. You don't want to be seen.

Backing off, Akashi was starting to panic.

Akashi: Oh, dear. Oh, my. I saw something terrible...

Kaga: You there. What are you doing?

In surprise and shock Akashi turned around to face Kaga, who narrowed her eyes.

Kaga: You saw.

Akashi: Wh-What are you talking about? I just got lost...

Came from Akashi before Observer Alpha wrapped her tentacles around her and picked her up.

Observer Alpha: Oh, she saw. Well, too bad, I guess.

The Siren nonchalantly said as she pointed her laser cannons at Akashi, ready to execute her on the spot.
