Nina's Point of View:
Nina was a 19-year-old girl who had sworn off love. She had been dating her longtime boyfriend Derrick for three years before he dumped her suddenly. Adding to her misery, her parents died in a tragic train crash. Nina was heartbroken and convinced that life was not worth living. She decided to end it all.
She had written a goodbye note to her brother Tobi, the only family she had left, and was about to take her life when Tobi walked in on her. Tobi was 14 years old and had always looked up to his older sister. He didn't want to lose her too, and he talked her out of it. He promised to always be there for her, and Nina was grateful to her brother for saving her life.
Tobi's Point of View:
Tobi had always admired his sister Nina. She was his role model, and he looked up to her in every way. When he found out about her plan to end her life, he was devastated. He couldn't bear the thought of losing his sister, the only family he had left.
He walked in on Nina just as she was about to take her life, and he begged her to stop. He promised to always be there for her and talked her out of it. Tobi was relieved when Nina decided to take a break and go on a road trip with him.
