Lauren laughed as she shut off her camera that was filming Sapnap chasing George around with a crab. The girl was dragged to the beach by her boyfriend and her friends because they didn't want her last day in Florida to be a gloomy and sulky one in bed like she would do whenever she and Dream had to part.

The two may have gotten used to having to say goodbye to each other, but it never gets easy.

"NICK!" George yelled making the couple laugh as they sat on their towels. The beach day was successfully distracting Lauren from the sadness of her leaving Florida.

She was too focused on her friends' roughhousing as the waves hit them that she didn't notice them sitting closer to her. But that didn't stop her from smiling when she felt him place his head on her shoulder.

Lauren hummed as she placed her head on top of his. Intertwining their fingers, Dream hummed happily, like a purring Patches whenever the girl cuddled her. She chuckled and ran her fingers through his wet hair.

The silence was something they have gotten used to. They had realized early on in their relationship that just the mere presence of the two next to each other was enough. No extravagant story telling or small talk felt right between them.

They could work on their own passions as long as they knew that they were next to each other.

"I'm going to miss you." Dream said. Lauren sighed and pulled away, he looked at her and she cupped his cheeks, "You're seeing me soon though." she reminded him.

The blonde still frowned, "3 months too long." He whined as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her onto his lap. She chuckled, "Clay." She said with a stern voice. She had gotten used to clingy him; it was something she adored with her boyfriend.

He looked up at her and sent her an innocent smile, she raised an eyebrow at him, "You'll be spending holidays with me." She said with a laugh.

Dream huffed but kissed her cheek, "I know. But-" "You got used to me around. Clay, you'll be with me back at home to celebrate Christmas and New Year's with my family."

He looked at her unsure. One thing about Dream was that no matter what it is, there will always be a part of him that worried about her. This time though was worse, seeing as their relationship was out for the world to see.

Lauren cupped his cheeks and pecked his lips, "We're going to be okay. Nothing is going to happen Clay."

Despite having that squirming feeling in his stomach, he trusted her. Pulling her closer and tighter, he let it go. Watching George and Sapnap race to them to show which one had the better shell.
