Today is the 25th, meaning the night for the ritual. Both Families are at the Lee temple eating dinner, everyone was talking while i noticed Mei was looking up at the 4 town lights. I felt sorry for what happend and hope she can fix things tomorrow

Wu: what is that?

Asked Meis grandma pointing at the lights

Ming: um, i think it's coming from the SkyDome, mother.

Jason: they're for the 4 town concert happening tonight.

Wu: *scoffs* four is the worst number.

Lily: you know, Vivian was due on the fourth, but i held her in until the fifth-

Wu: quiet Lily.

Mùchén: yes i would rather not have the kids get that image in their heads.

Wu: hurry up, everyone. It's almost time to start the ritual.

Maco: speaking of. Why are we here if we won't help?

Yìzé: we're here in case something goes wrong with the ritual.

Maco: but i thought we can't be in the temple in fox form.

Mùchén: we're allowed to transform in the temple as long as the red eclipse is up.

I look at Mei who was looking at her food until mr.Gao turned to her

Mr.Gao: Nervous, Mei-Mei?

Mei: a little.

Mr.Gao: oh, well, i've got 50 years experience as a shaman*chuckles* This will be a piece of cake. And mostly painless.

Mei sighs

Mei: thanks mister Gao. Wait "mostly"

Maco: yeah run that by us again?

Miss Wu taps on her glass of water with her spoon and clears her throat

Everyone raised their glass in honor of Mei. Mr.Gao pit a hand on her shoulder, getting her attention

Mr.Gao:uh.. it's almost time. The red moon is about to begin.

He said pointing at the moon. Me and Mei turn to look at it and i was really starting to go red. Everyone got up and went to do there job

Ming: Mei-Mei, go get ready.

Mei: yes, mother.

She went to her room to prepare and i also saw her dad go after her. I helped prepare for the ritual but something always was on my mind

Maco: i don't want to interupt this but there's soemthing on my mind lately.

I said outloud getting everyones attention

Alice: what is it son?

Maco: when you mentioned Mings panda when Meis aunts arrived you all looked scared. Why was that?

The adults looked at each other with worry, except for Ming who looked embarrasses

Ming: it wasn't that big a deal, let's just-

Mùchén: ever sence i took our families duty of keeping the pandas rage in line, never once have i seen one as powerful as Mings.
