"Enough post gaming, they disrespected us, Marcus." I hear the sparrow's voices as I wake up in some weird bed, my head still hurts like hell.

I get up from the bed and look around me. They seem to be running on a treadmill while watching Vanya destroying them on TV. Nice.

Now's my chance.

I sneak my way behind the kitchen counters, hearing their Number 1 whining about how they lost the fight.

As I'm starting to finally reach the door, I catch the clone who was wandering around by herself, looking at me.

I start silently panicking and hold my finger to my mouth, telling it to shut up and make no noise. She tilted her head to the side.

"Oh my god!" She exclaimed and all the sparrows looked at her. One of them approached her and looked to the side, finding my hiding place.

I get up as fast as possible and run my way through the door like my life depended on it, and it did.

As soon as I passed the door running, I felt myself hitting someone's chest and falling backwards. My eyes went to the man who fucked up my escape and it's no one other than dear old dad himself.

"Watch your steps next time, Number Eight. If it were the enemy you might lose a limb or two." Dad told me, yet again disappointingly. I look up at him and get up. The sparrows are looking at me as if I should be offering something. But I have another plan.

"Dude... this lady over there just threw her cat out of the window. That's crazy." I act shocked and wait for them to look at the window behind them. Nobody does, except gravity girl, and maybe that flying box. I can't really tell the direction it's looking at. "Alright fine. Enough playing. Dad?"

"Yes?"

"Move away from the door." He looks at me weirdly, and then he steps aside. I try keeping the intimidating act and walk outside smoothly, it's like a power move. Very calculated.

But a certain tentacle wraps around my wrist, pulling me back in.

"Where are you going, princess? We haven't had tea yet." He says tilting his head slightly while smirking.

"Stick it up your ass." I try yanking my hand away but it wouldn't budge. I look back at him. "Actually, that's the wrong wording. You can't stick tea up your ass, I think."

"What's your deal, shitbird!?" he pulls the tentacle aggressively, as if he's trying to gain all of my attention.

"I'd say the shitbird is actually her." I tilt my head towards the blind lady. She just scoffs and looks to the side, I can't tell if she's hiding a laugh, or is just extremely offended.

Ben was about to say something until I heard dad clearing his throat. Clearly waiting for us to finish.

"You summoned, Number one?"

"Sit." Number one says demandingly, and dad sits obediently without question.

"Nice." I say and they all ignore me, I look to my side and find some kitchen knives.

I start thinking of ways to escape again. I can clone myself to get a knife and cut off Ben's tentacle, and if I do it fast enough I would have enough time to run away.

I get ready to act fast, as Number one and dad talk about nonsensical stuff, I quickly let out a clone that went to the side of the room and quickly threw the knife at Ben's tentacle. At least it tried to do so.
