As crimson clouds filled the sky, casting an ominous glow over the Nether, a magnificent castle stood atop the realm’s highest peak, its towers piercing through the sky like jagged fangs. The dark stone walls glistened under the blood-red horizon, an eerie beauty hanging over the demonic landscape.

Racing through the castle’s grand halls, a demon with raven-black hair, standing at 5'8", moved with urgency. His name was Sapnap, the second-in-command, his footsteps echoing off the marble floors as he neared the throne room. Sweat dripped from his brow as he pushed open the massive, ornate doors with a loud creak, revealing the chamber beyond.

"Sir! XD is here to see you!" Sapnap panted, his voice strained from the rush.

Seated on a grand throne at the room’s center was a demon, an imposing figure who wore a mask with a perpetual smile. His dirty blonde hair spilled over the edges of the mask, and beneath it, his sharp green eyes gleamed with a cunning light. This was Dream, the demon lord, dressed in fine, tailored attire that contrasted with the dark, foreboding atmosphere around him. His presence commanded both fear and respect.

Dream’s voice was calm, almost amused. "Let him in."

As soon as the words left his lips, a god-like figure materialized in the room. This being, too, wore a mask, but unlike Dream’s, his bore the cryptic letters ‘XD’. The air around him shimmered with divine power.

"Ah, Dream... it’s a pleasure to meet you again," XD said smoothly, his voice carrying an unsettling calm. "A little birdie told me your birthday is coming up soon... I thought I’d bring you an early gift."

Dream leaned back on his throne, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "What is it this time? A spellbook, a necklace, perhaps a wand? Or maybe another useless painting?"

The god’s lips curled beneath his mask. "I hear you have a certain... fondness for angels. Particularly one in my possession—George, my most beautiful creation."

With a flourish, XD produced a small, sleeping figure from thin air. It was an angel, his gentle face framed by soft brown hair. He was serene, as though untouched by the darkness around him.

Dream's breath hitched as he gazed at the angel, instantly recognizing him. George.

Without hesitation, Dream strode forward and took the angel into his arms, cradling him as if holding something fragile. His voice softened, a rare tenderness creeping into his words. "My... he’s even more beautiful in person than in the pictures."

**George’s POV:**

George awoke slowly, his eyes fluttering open to the sight of a room that looked like something out of a dream. The ceiling seemed to stretch infinitely into the sky, and the walls were painted in soft hues of white and blue, as if the heavens themselves had been captured within four walls. Everything felt ethereal, but strange. Panic began to rise in his chest as he realized he didn’t know where he was or how he’d gotten here.

His heart pounded in his ears, and as his eyes darted around the room, they fell on a pair of glowing green eyes staring at him from the shadows.

"My angel... you're awake," came a low, smooth voice from the darkness. George flinched, his breath hitching. The figure stepped forward, revealing Dream, his mask casting an unsettling contrast to the gentle way he spoke. "How was your slumber, my dear?"

Fear gripped George. He scrambled off the bed, his movements frantic as he threw himself to the floor and hid underneath it, trembling.

Dream's expression faltered, a look of concern flashing across his features as he approached the bed. He knelt down, peering underneath to see George huddled there, sobbing.
