Trigger warning: blood

Entry No. 1

I've woken up in a motel in the middle of nowhere with no clue who I am or how I got here. I've checked this jacket I found at the foot of the bed, but there's no ID in there, only a set of keys belonging to a bike parked outside. It's silent here, seems like I might be the only person for miles. God, I was unfortunate enough to wind up in this hell hole last night. I don't remember coming here, I don't remember anything about my life for that matter.

I spot a book and a pen lying on the desk. Perhaps this could be used to document experiences to help me find out who I am, or rather who I was. I shoved the book and pen into the inside of the jacket I found...well my jacket. The boots that rested at the foot of my bed appeared to be muddy? However, a maroon substance...erm...stain? Covered the boots. Blood?

My head began to pulsate as I examined the boots. Why did the scuffed boots make sense? I tossed my head back, trying to rid myself of the stupid burning sensation in my head. I removed myself from my bed and walked over to the door. I opened the door and poked my head out. My gaze reached the end of the road, or what my eyes could make out.
I believe I was surrounded by what looks like to be grasslands. I crack the door further and make my way to the front desk in hopes of finding out where the hell I am.

Great.

No one was in or near the front desk. The only thing stranger than that was the fact that it looked like someone had turned the place upside down. Papers and books scattered across the floor, and the desk was overturned. I walked inside and was instantly greeted by the sound of crunching glass from under my boots. What the hell happened here? I look to the left of the right of the front desk and find multiple bullet entry points. As I advanced further to the desk, I noticed how it had multiple holes in it. Some had turned it upside down to use some sort of shield or barricade.

I ran my cladded hand across the surface of the overturned desk before peering over the edge. I felt my stomach churn as I caught a glimpse of two decaying bodies. Both had blasters clutched closely to their bodies. I looked between them and winced. Before me laid a holomap... covered in blood... their blood...
