"But sir, we have so much to do today. A field trip is a bit..." Valentina starts.

"I know work is a bit tough on everyone, that why I'm suggesting this" Kyle says with his hands in his pockets. "So everyone round up with you are doing and get ready"

When Kyle was out of sight, Mira walked up to Valentina. "This field trip might just be exactly what you need to calm down. You've been edgy these days, V"

Valentina heaved a heavy sigh. "I know that but how can I calm down? The company is fairing badly because of us. We should be working harder than before not playing around"

"Don't you see why boss is suggesting this field trip?" Dwayne questions Valentina. "He can see just how much pressure we're under"

"That's right" Andrew countered. "Just use this trip to blow off some steam. Who knows we might be able to think better when we're all relaxed?"

Kyle rejoins the team. "Is everyone ready?"

Mira assures Valentina with a smile before turning to face Kyle. "Yes, boss"

"Then, let's go" Kyle leads them outside the company to the bus waiting outside for them.

The bus was packed with people from other teams; Fashion team, lipgloss team, shoe team, jewellery team, perfume team, etc.

"I suddenly don't feel good thinking about being in the same bus with the fashion team" Valentina whispers to Mira who just nudges her gently by the shoulder.

"You'll be fine" Mira whispers back. "You have me, remember?"

"Ah, yes. The little Miss lioness. I suddenly feel so much better" Valentina teased as the two ladies laughed lightly.

As the marketing team got on the bus, they were welcomed by the other teams who had arrived before them, except Hazel of course.

Hazel snickered as soon as she saw them. "Shouldn't you guys be working rather than playing?"

Valentina was about to say something but Mira stopped her. "We're here to have fun, remember?"

The teammates take their seats besides eachother as the bus takes off to Kyle's vacation house.

When they got there, Valentina couldn't help but marvel at the sight of the house.

In the front lawn was a wide table that could contain all of them; it was situated beside the pool.

Flowers gracefully adorned the lawn; yellow daisies to be precise.

On seeing the daisies, Mira smiled as it reminded her of the one she has in her shed.

"So this is where he got it from?" She mumbles.

"Who got where from?" Valentina questions, taking Mira by surprise.

"It's no one in particular. Seeing these flowers just reminded me of someone I know"

"I see" Valentina turns to face Kyle. "How long are we going to be here, boss?"

"Just two days. So make sure you all rest well. When we resume work, I won't tolerate any slacking off, is that understood?"

"Yes!" They all chorused. With that said, they all head into the house.

"LFW!" Valentina squealed as she saw a huge pool board in the living room. There was a long spiral staircase that led upstairs.

The down floor had a large plasma TV at the end of the room by the right and by the left, it led to a bar.

"This is amazing" Mira says as suddenly her phone rings. She picks it up. "Mirabel"

"Yes, are you there yet?" Mirabel questioned. Mira had told her sister about the field trip.
