I woke up to the sound of a thudding from the door. I assumed it was early in the morning because no light had leaked from under the door. I assumed it might have been one of the other girls or the servants. No. It was Nikoli, saying for me to get my ass up for training.

"This early in the morning I assume," I blankly said.

"You want to be able to kick a Rogues ass," he smiled as he he suddenly twisted me backward and held a knife to my throat. "Then you gotta train to be like us."

I could feel the smirk on his lips as he spoke those words.

The chance of gaining such a knowledge of how to take down a wolf, sound sweet like honey from a river.

"So when do we start," I smiled as he released me.

I quickly changed into a fitted tank that was given to by Chauncey and a pair of shorts I found in the drawers. I followed Nikoli outside on the opposite side of the garden. The area had punching bags; sharpening of knives table, almost everything a trainer would use for the students on knowing how to survive. The both of us stopped in front a wooden wall that seemed worn out.

"Alright girly," I heard Bruce's voice. "Shall we go over the rules."

"Go ahead," I spoke as I found Chauncey bringing out a crate of more weapons.

"You are here to train, so no complaining. You will be treated like my men, so no special treatment. And most certainly, you will give us respect for we are teaching you. If you can't manage to keep your damn tongue silent I'll personally make sure that Rosa sells you to a sex addict."

"Wait, you guys actually have those," I almost threw up then and there.

"Well, men have needs too," Nikoli chuckled then yelped as he got hit by Chauncey.

"Now first lesson," Chauncey threw a knife that was barely a centimeter a way from my ear. "Knives will be a slight challenge for you. But I'm sure you will manage."

"Shit," I whispered now turning to see the board was worn from knife throws.

"Now, let's get started," Bruce smirked as he held a knife with his hand and gave an evil like smirk. "Time is 4:30 a.m. We begin first segment of training Day 1 of week 1."

I heard Bruce say aloud as Chauncey began to write on a clipboard. It bothered me why the Hell he was taking such notes. Though, I let it pass when we had begun.

The knives were some sort of a difficulty, for me. I would end up piercing my own skin when would try to attack Nikoli, but of the obvious he was more fast paced than I.

"We have a lot of work to do," Chauncey sighed as I heard the pen scribble once more.

~* 2 hours later*~

"Jesus," I exhaled as we finally took a break.

"First day of training," Nikoli chuckled. "You actually survived more than the last recruit. Still in the Infirmary Room from training a week ago."

"What happened," I asked as he gave me water.

"Oh, Jonas had the handle facing us, instead of him. So when I did an ambush, he used one arm to push me off. Though he also pushed the blade in his leg."

"Really," I choked on the water as he spoke of the idiocy.

"Yeah, though he should be almost done healing for a half-wolf like him," he chugged a drink.

"Half? You guys have some like that," I asked with interest.

"Yeah, but you can have Chauncey tell you, I'm not the brains in the whole operation."
