It was already 8 pm and Taehyung was in front of a room waiting for the doctor to call him inside. He doesn't have any clue why he wanted to talk to him alone.

Parting his thoughts away the doctor calls him inside as he opens the door and sees Mrs. Kim also sitting on the chair. Guess he didn't want to talk to him all alone.

The moment he stepped inside, the doctor gestured to him to take a seat beside Mrs. Kim. Taehyung looked at the lady beside him in confusion, and couldn't understand what was happening.

"Mr. Kim, I called you here to have a conversation." Taehyung nodded in small, looking at the doctor's eyes full of confusion.

"Since you already know about the pregnancy I won't hide anything from you. Jiha is a very close friend of mine, that's why I decided to be in charge of Jungkook. But this is a serious matter." Taehyung got even more confused after hearing him, did something happen to his baby? He just wishes whatever he was thinking doesn't come true.

"In this kind of case, most patient don't aren't able to regain their lost memory but Jungkook seems to remember a lot of things we thought he wouldn't remember. He remembers getting himself in an accident which most patients don't remember. We're hoping that he might get those forgotten memories back but don't force him to remember anything. It can affect his brain." The doctor paused and looked at Mrs. Kim as she signals him to speak up.

"And about the baby, he's still unaware of it. We were afraid that it might be too shocking for him. Tell him once he's finally recovered." Taehyung takes a deep breath after hearing him. He doesn't know how much he can tolerate all these but he will try his best.

"Is.. is the baby alright?" Taehyung asks with his small voice as a small smile captures the doctor's face.

"Baby is doing well, you took good care of him." The doctor says Taehyung couldn't be more relieved after hearing him.

"That's all I wanted to say."

After saying thank you to her old friend, Mrs. Kim gets up from the chair as Taehyung also follows her. Once they were out of the room Taehyung let out a big sigh. The lady beside him reached her hand to pat on his shoulder.

"You're doing too much for him, Taehyung." Mrs. Kim says as she herself was feeling bad for the man who gives her an obvious answer.

"I love him."

"I have zero doubt that you do but you know you have already crossed the limit. I want you to move on from him, don't hurt yourself like this. It's also hurting myself seeing you in such a position." Mrs. Kim was thinking everything practically, what if Jungkook doesn't remember anything? What if Jungkook doesn't love him this time? Taehyung will get more hurt then and Mrs. Kim doesn't want this to happen.

Taehyung lets out a dry laugh.

"Your son is the only reason why I'm living, are you telling me to die? Because that's what it is to me, leaving him means directly choosing death." After showing the lady a weak smile Taehyung left the place.

He couldn't understand why everyone around him was telling him to let Jungkook go, can't they see he freaking loves the boy. It doesn't matter whatever happened, how it happened but he still loves the boy even after the boy doesn't remember a single thing about him.

Taehyung will love him without expecting anything in return. He is used to this kind of love, isn't he?

Taehyung reached his hand to grab the doorknob but before he could do that, the door was opened by a certain boy who's face lightened up after seeing him.

"Taehyung hyung?" The boy says and after that he hurriedly grabbed the elder man's wrist. Before Taehyung could realize anything the boy starts dragging him with him.
