Freak show exposed

Mario ran back to the circus, only to find it gone. He went to find the girls. However, he only found Meggy, looking somewhat weakened while faintly laughing.

Mario: Meggy!

Meggy: (weakly) Hey Mario. Where'd you go?

Mario: Where'd I go? Where'd the circus go?!

Meggy: Hehe, good question.

Mario: Meggy, are you okay?

Meggy: Just... Just a little blue.

Mario: (POV) What happened to her? (Out loud) Wait, where are the girls?!

Meggy: What? (Snaps back to reality) THE GIRLS! THE JOY JOY GANG KIDNAPPED THE GIRLS!!!

We then cut to the truck for the circus. We see Albearto driving while "Loo Loo" was in the other seat.

"Loo Loo": Did you bring people for the aftershow?

Freddy pulled back a curtain, to reveal several children in the audience. Including Melony and Misty. The MxM duo kept running at high speed to keep up with them.

Mario: If I has just stopped them at the bank, this wouldn't have happened!!!

Meggy: How did you fail to stop them?

Mario: (stops with her) I... I can't tell you of all people. 😔

Meggy: Mario, you can tell me anything.

Mario: *sighs* I'm afraid of clowns.

Meggy: I... I understand how you feel. I was once afraid of heights as a kid. But, the important thing is to learn when to get over your fears. (Suddenly collapses to the ground).

Mario: MEGGY!!!

Meggy: *sighs* so... sad.

Mario: Meggy, what happened at the circus after I left?

(Flashback)

While Mario was gone, the laughter that the audience gave was absorbed in the laughamatic 2000. Meggy then remembered hearing "Loo Loo" say this.

"Loo Loo": I love the sound of laughter. It feeds my power!

(End of flashback)

Meggy: Mario, I think that "Loo Loo" steals people's happiness through laughter.

Mario: And he's got the kids.

A few minutes later, the MxM duo found them and saw the Joy joy gang in bad shape. Freddy and Ozzie's s jaw was broken, Albearto had some of his skin torn off, Pablo had his whole midsection ripped off with his beak, Lora's head was bashed in, and Rocky was missing an arm and the right side of her face was missing skin.

Mario: Okay here's the plan. You go save the girls, I'll create a diversion for you. (Hands her his pistol)

Meggy: Got it. Good luck. (Kisses him before leaving)

Meggy sneaks into the funhouse without being seen. Meanwhile, Mario puts his armor on and prepared for the fight. But before he could catch them by surprise, he accidentally knocked down a box. This drew the attention of the animatronics. Ozzie then threw his buzz-saw symbols at the crate. The others soon ran to the crates to see the damage, but only saw broken boxes.

Albearto: Must've been a mouse.

Freddy: Yeah, just a mo-

Suddenly, Freddy's head was cut clean off, and the gang looked over and saw the Crimson star. The others were enraged by the death of their friend. Ozzie picked up his buzz saws and threw them at the Crimson star. But the hero cut through them like butter.
