The sun was slowly setting down from the sky and the mew woke up from his sleep and it took sometime to adjust himself with the darkness with a little light in the room.
He looked beside to see his boss sleeping on the chair by placing his head on the bed while holding mew's hand. Mew was thankful to gulf as it was always gulf who is there with him in his hard times.
He remembered about his mom and got tears in his eyes.... He did everything he was told to protect his mother but in the end he can't... He was thinking how fool he was to get played by those people mostly by his own father.... How can his father even thought of doing this to his own family....
He didn't even get a chance to look at his mom for last time... His tears got heavy which lead him to hiccuping making gulf who is holding mew's hand slowly opened his eyes and woke up. He jolted up seeing mew crying making him sit move from chair to sit beside mew.
"Mew stop crying na... please..." gulf said cupping mew's cheeks with his hands.
"i can't protect her at the end boss" mew said in a low voice making gulf slowly rub his thumb on mew's cheeks to comfort him.
"Mew... you know na... you did everything for her and Do you think your mom want his only son to cry and regret for all his life... Don't you think your mom want you to be happy in your life" gulf tried his best to stop mew's cries which somehow worked as mew's cries were slowed down.
"Now get fresh... so we can get down and fill that tiny tummy and also lina is dying down to know about your health... that little girl is something else... she is literally pacing around kitchen without doing any work" gulf said shaking his head making mew giggle making gulf smile.
"there... there... see this is how you should be happy in your life" gulf said ruffling mew's hair.
"Now go and get fresh... i will ask that devil to prepare something for you to eat" gulf said standing up making mew nod his head. Mew went to washroom to cleanup and gulf went to kitchen to see lina biting her nails making gulf roll his eyes and shake his head.
Gulf pov
"How much time you gonna do this?" i asked in a stern voice making lina stop in his tracks and look at me with wide eyes.
"Boss... how is mew?" lina asked me ignoring my question completely.
"He is okay now... just woke up" i said and saw her releasing a breath in relief.
"Why do i feel you have so much attention towards him?" i asked narrowing my eyes at her to which she is shocked and sighed a bit.
"Boss you know i don't dare... I just see him as my brother... you know i don't have anyone in my family... so i making a family for myself... in that family he is my brother..." lina said making me smile a bit
"Yaa i know you see him as a brother that is why you are still alive" i said smirking making her narrow her eyes.
"wahhh... what a boss i have ?" she said dramatically holding her chest making me laugh and shame my head and turn back to go to the dining.
"Anyway what i am to you in your so called making family?" i asked making lina think a bit rubbing her finger at chin while i sat on the chair.
"ummm....maybe my brother's husband" lina said making me chock on the water that i am drinking.
"Lina... what the hell are you saying?" i rumbled looking back at steps to see whether mew came and heard and released a relief breath and went to lina to smack her head.
"ahh... boss... what is that for?" lina asked while rubbing her head.
"stop sprouting nonsense... what mew will think if he hears?" i scolded her
"wahh... it's okay for you if he didn't hear?" she asked me making me close my eyes to cool down
"lina.." i warned her
"okay okay... i will stop now" she said
"go and cook something" i said and again turned back to go but...
"But anyway i am rooting for you both" lina said making me shout at her...
"LIIINAAA..." i screamed making her run away into kitchen and i saw mew running down on the stairs.
"Boss what happened...? Did lina do something again? She is a small girl you know... cool down... let me talk to her" mew said with a little worry in his eyes.
"Little girl..? who..? that devil..? She is not at all innocent mew.." i scoffed making mew confuse. I went and sat on the sofa while switching the tv thinking about what lina rumbled.
Mew pov
I went inside kitchen to see happily cooking something. I went to her and called her.
"Lina..."
"Mew..? How are you feeling..? Are you okay now..? " she asked me making me smile.
"Yes mam... i am all okay.." i said and she hit my arm making me laugh.
"It's good that you are okay.." she said and went back to cooking
"now tell me why the hell are you making our boss itritated.... you know he will fire you once he get angry..." i told my concern because i always see her talking back to boss and irritate him...
"fire me..." she scoffed making me confuse
"He will never do that.... He practically raised me mew... that means he is like a father figure to me... and i like irritating tain him"she told
"linaaa... father figure... seriously... he is not that old" i told her
"wahh.. you only got that... okay... but he looks old" she told making me roll my eyes at her
"stop saying that... he doesn't look old at all and he looks more younger compared to his age... now stop irritating him" i scolded her and i don't know but i saw a little smirk on her face but i widened my eyes...
"handsome..?"
