Boboiboy - Toxic Friends AU

The beginning

3rd Person POV

After the fight with Rettaka, TAPOPS rebuilt their station and came back with a fiercer reputation. However, the members of TAPOPS let that fame get to their heads, discarding the fact that Boboiboy was the one to defeat the famed elemental holder. As for the hero himself, he was still a mere cadet while the rest of the kokotiam gang were in high positions, even Gopal who used to be a cadet along with Boboiboy. In addition to this, Boboiboy was scolded for disobeying orders and was also blamed for the destruction of the previous TAPOPS headquarters, as a punishment he ended up getting clean up duty for 2 whole months. However, this story starts 3 months after the Rettaka incident, where the Kokotiam gang, except for Ochobot who was sent to stay with Tok Aba for a while, are currently getting assigned to a new mission.

  The mission was to retrieve a power sphera named sleepbot, who could make people fall asleep for a whole week. After getting the debrief the gang got ready and headed to their ship. The Kokotiam gang were now in their spaceship, with Papa Zola driving, on their way to retrieve sleepbot. They were discussing how to carry out the mission when Boboiboy, who had been quiet the whole time, tried to say something. "Hey guys, I don't think it's a good idea to assume nobody will be after sleepbot, maybe we shoul-" Boboiboy got cut off by the others glaring at him and Yaya saying "Boboiboy, Fang is the leader, just because you see him as a rival dosn't mean you can try to say his plan isn't good. Plus, this planet has no inhabitants, there won't be anybody there. You should just go read some books, *mumbles* at least that something you can't mess up at". The others nodded at this, Boboiboy looked shocked but opened his mouth to say something, when Gopal stood up and said "Look Boboiboy, your just a cadet, so why don't you be a good boy and follow orders.". Gopal smirked while the others snickered. Boboiboy just looked hurt, but he quickly put on a poker face and got up, leaving the others smirking triumphantly. He made his way to his room, which was really just a glorified storage closet since his previous shared room was now just Gopal's, and quietly hoped that his friends would stop acting so 'distant'. 

  After about 20 minutes of just sitting there, the ship finally landed, Boboiboy stood up and rush out to meet the others. When he got to the others they were already almost out the door. "W-were you guys going to leave without me?" Boboiboy asked in disbelief. They just rolled their eyes and ignored him. Boboiboy felt sick, but followed them out the ship. After walking for a while, the team of 5 reached a cave. Fang-"Sleepbot's signal is coming from here.". Just as they were about to step inside Boboiboy heard something heading towards the others. "Watch out!", Boboiboy talked them out of the way, knowing they probably wouldn't listen to him. They all glared at him and got up. Ying shouted "Who's there!". A laugh was heard as someone stepped out from the cave. "Huh- Adudu!" Boboiboy yelled in surprise. Adudu- "HAHAHA, that's right Boboiboy! And look!" He held up his hands, revealing that he had captured sleepbot. "Aish- Adudu, what makes you think you will win this time!" Gopal screamed at him. "THIS!", Adudu pressed a button revealing an upgraded probe. The gangs eyes widened but they quickly started fighting probe while avoiding the blasts sleepbot was shooting at them under Adudu's command. 

   Boboiboy was having to repeatedly save the others as they kept almost getting shot, but instead of being grateful they got mad at him, yelling at him to get out of the way. Boboiboy had then started to overpower probe when all of the sudden Gopal got an idea and shouted "Boboiboy I order you to split into Solar, Halilintar, and Ais!". The others understood why Gopal said that but Boboiboy said "Gopal that's not a good idea! Probes almost defeated and they don't work well tog-". Fang stepped in and screamed "Shut up and do it already! They are the most powerful and will end the fight quickly you selfish brat!". Boboiboy was so shocked at what Fang screamed that he just emotionlessly complied, saying "I hope you're happy.". But of course, Boboiboy was right, because not even a minute after splitting Solar and Halilintar had started fighting while Boboiboy, in Ais' body, unsuccessfully tried telling them to calm down since they couldn't hear him over their fight. Adudu took this chance to escape with sleepbot and probe, but not before very loudly shouting "Thanks for giving me a chance to escape Boboiboy! Hahaha!". 

  Boboiboy's eyes widened and he quickly merged back but before he could process what just happened, the others started yelling at him. Fang-"This is all your fault Boboiboy!", Gopal- "Yeah, because of you Adudu got away!". Ying and Yaya- "Seriously Boboiboy! You can't even keep your powers under control.". Boboiboy just stayed quiet, looking down at the ground wondering when things had gotten so out of hand. Eventually they all headed back to the ship, but the others were completely ignoring Boboiboy. When they arrived at TAPOPS the others quickly pinned the blame of failing the mission on Boboiboy, causing the commander to suspend him from missions for a week until they came up with a 'proper' punishment.

Boboiboy POV

After we got back from the failed mission the others quickly told the commander that I had lost control of my power and had cost them the mission. The commander suspended me for a week, but he didn't tell Fang anything, even when he always says that the leader is responsible for his teammates. This whole situation left me feeling sick to my stomach. Not to mention Ochobot wasn't here so I was left all alone. After the meeting had ended I quickly went to my room, which was thankfully an actual room unlike the one on the ship, and collapsed on the floor after closing my door. I felt like my whole world had come crashing down around me.

3rd Person POV

What Boboiboy failed to notice at the moment was the fact that his power watch was beeping rapidly.
