Calming His Thoughts

Hi everybody!

Sorry for taking so long to post, but here is the next chapter! The next update may take a bit of time, but I will try to post soon. Thank you for being so patient with me and for reading this story. Boboiboy POV

I stood there horrified at what Blaze had just said. Somehow joking around turned into a full blown freak out and to make matters worse, Blaze was freaking out about me. He didn't say my name but I knew he was talking about me. My stomach felt uneasy and I couldn't help but feel sickened by what he thought I was going to do to him for 'messing up'. I stared at him before forcing myself to calm down, knowing that standing there doing nothing wouldn't help Blaze in any way. I calmly walked up to him, kneeling down in front of him, and gently tilted his face towards me. "Blaze"

3rd Person POV

Silence swept over the room as the others watched Boboiboy and Blaze interact. The moment Boboiboy had said Blaze's name, the fiery element had snapped his head towards his user, terror filling his eyes.

Blaze POV

"Y-yes" I tried to calm down, after all he was probably just going to tell me to put out my fire, punishments we're tomorrow.... R-right?

Boboiboy POV

I barely managed to stop myself from flinching at his reaction, but I was able to compose myself. In that moment I was also able to notice that Blaze didn't seem to know that he had been saying his thoughts aloud, which made confronting him about it slightly more difficult. I mentally braced myself before softly but firmly saying " I am not going to delete you Blaze. Everybody makes mistakes, and none of us are any different. I don't hate you, you are NOT weak, and I am not going to hurt you, ok Blaze?"

Blaze POV

W-what.... H-how did he.... N-no, D-don't tell me I- Wait, W-what?

3rd Person POV

Blaze sat there in shock after realizing he had said his thoughts out loud, processing Boboiboy's response to them. The others were all quite, anxious to see how this would play out. Boboiboy also stayed quite, wanting to give Blaze a bit of time to properly process the situation.

 Blaze POV

I couldn't think properly. My mind was replaying his words on loop. But..He can't possibly mean that......He is our owner.... a-and that's what they always do when we mess up.. right?

Boboiboy POV

I watched as Blaze struggled with his thoughts, probably not believing me. I can't exactly blame him. It is hard to trust someone when all you have is there word, especially in their case. I sighed, my hand still gently holding Blaze's face towards me, and spoke again. I made sure to make my voice as gentle as possible as I said "Blaze, it's ok. I can tell your not comfortable right now, so here's what I'm going to do. I am going to walk out of the room and go make lunch, in the meantime, you can talk with the others and sort out your thoughts. Okay?" I fillet him freeze and tense slightly, before slightly relaxing his body and hesitantly nodding in agreement. I got up slowly, making sure not to make any sudden movements, and headed towards the door. I shot a quick glance to Gempa trying to ask if he was coming. Luckily he got the message because he nodded and stood up to follow me. I was slightly relieved that Gempa was coming because he knows what they like to eat better than me, and partly because I don't think me being alone with my thoughts right now would be a good idea. I stopped my thoughts there and focused on walking to the kitchen, Gempa walking silently behind me.

Gempa POV

Today has certainly been something else, but I am glad Original is being so considerate. My heart broke at Blaze's words, and I can't help but feel like it's not even the worst meltdown that's going to happen while we are here. Hopefully the others can help Blaze calm down, but what if he..... I shuddered and mentally scolded myself for thinking negatively like that. I decided to focus on the task at hand, and diverted my thoughts to Original. I was originally surprised when he looked at me to see if I wanted to come with him, but then again, our new owner seems to be full of surprises.

Boboiboy POV

I could feel Gempa staring at me, and when I turned to look at him, he seemed to have a thoughtful look in his eyes. He caught my stare so I smiled lightly at him and said "So, any ideas on what we should make for lunch?"

3rd Person POV

As Gempa and Boboiboy prepared lunch, Blaze was being comforted by Ais and the others. He had gotten better slightly, and was now hugging Ais, while he and the others talked things out. Duri, Ais, and Taufan even made sure to let Blaze know that Boboiboy wasn't like that. After sometime they had all been able to move on, going back to their original activities. Soon after Boboiboy and Gempa had finished cooking and were now starting to head back, but they were soon stopped by a familiar group of four people.
