[Y/N]'s POV:

"my name is [Y/N] its nice to meet you!" I say while giving a closed eye smile at this point in time I was determined to make lots of new friend so I would be good enough, maybe if I improve on my social skills I'll learn to make better choses and I can protect the ones I hold dear

"Hi I'm collei!" she exclaimed while matching my cheery smile

"I'm sure you to will getting along well" the boy who I'm pretty sure he told me his name was Tighnari "you two have very similar personality's" he adds "but one of you is frankly a moron" he whispers

you knew this was just his personality so it didn't effect you as much as when you first met you were glad you met him he was entertaining and a kind person from what you could tell with a sassy personality 

you found out he was the forest keeper after he yelled at you for being 'to stupid' he'd never say such a thing if he found out what you were like when you were in the zone at work

I wonder how heizou is doing..?

Heizous POV:

"you know flirting with random women isn't gonna make you magically feel better about the whole [Y/N] thing." kazuha scolds "what are you my mom?" I responded, damnit how could he tell! "what if [Y/N] found out? they are around here somewhere." kazuha says, I doubt he was trying to be rude and rather he was trying to get me to stop before I do something I regret

but still my eyes widen in shock what if [Y/N] did find out? would they hate me?

"what if they think your toying with their feeling if you try to court them?" kazuha asks 

I clench my fists, I knew he was right, it'd be rude of me to try and court them while I flirt with other people but what was I spouse to do? without them it doesn't feel right I've only known them for 2 months or so but I got attached and now I feel as a piece is missing 

wait.. is kazuha insinuating that I like them?

"I'm not trying to court them!" I yell

"then how would you feel if I took them?"

I felt my heart drop at those words

I look at kazuha with a shocked expression on my face, did kazuha... like [Y/N]?

what if he try's to court them?

"w-what!?" why am I stuttering? why am I so anxious all of the sudden?

"you heard me." kazuha says with a serious  expression 

"are you only keeping them as a second option?" he asks

"What no! I-" I answer

"but you say you aren't trying to court them but get mad at and anxious whenever the idea of someone else courting them?" he cuts me off

"I'm not getting mad!" I yell

"then can I have [Y/N]?" he asks though I'm unable to tell if he's serious or not

I stay silent..

what am I doing! speak! tell him he cant tell him that they don't want him! tell him it was all a lie... maybe then if he gave up id have a chance...

maybe if they loved me..

they wouldn't have left..
