'Hey Joy.' A guy calls as he walks up to me while I walk out of class. I believe his name starts with a T, I'm not sure though. 'How are you?'
I decide that I am going to ignore him and just keep walking to the bakery that is just around the corner next to the campus. 'Hey.' He says again, but this time he steps in front of me so I have to stop walking.
I step around him. 'What the hell do you want?' I keep on walking and he keeps walking next to me until I reach the corner and enter the street where the bakery is in.
I don't look at him as he asks me a question. 'Would you like to eat something together? You have a free period too right?'
He can barely keep up with me so he walks behind me. Really, why are these dudes so fucking stupid. I abruptly stop walking and turn around. He didn't expect that so he bumps in to me.
'Okey man. I will talk slow and make it easy for you so even your bunny brain can understand. We,' I point in between me and him, 'are nothing to each other okey? We had sex for one time and I don't even remember your name. I am most certainly not going to sit down and eat something with you, because I don't like you.' I turn back around and continue walking. When I am a few steps away I quickly turn to face him again. I see the hurt in his eyes and I can't find a single part of me that gives a fuck about his feelings. 'And by the way, your dick is small and I didn't even finish when we slept together.'
I turn back around and stumble into something big and hard. When I look up my eyes meet with Liam's. He has this half smirk on his face which indicates that he has probably heard my conversation with Nameless Guy. Who, by the way, is still standing at the exact same spot as he just was.
'You angry the boy couldn't make you come?' He asks mockingly.
We are standing so close, I can smell his cologne. It smells amazing, not too strong and not too soft. 'Oh please, I don't care. Barely any of them can.'
It slips my mouth. Only when he smirks again I realize that this is not really the topic I want to talk about with him. 'I bet that it is a skill issue on their part.' He says as he comes even closer. Our toes touch and there is mere centimetres between his chest and mine.
'Well I'm just not so easy to please.' I step back and walk into the bakery. I ty to slow my heartbeat but that turns out to be very difficult when Liam follows me inside. I can't see him since he is behind me, but I can sense him.
'Following me?' I ask without looking back.
'Don't flatter yourself little girl. It takes a lot more than a pretty face for me to follow a girl.' He answers as if only the idea is ridiculous.
I order a donut and as I wait for the boy behind the counter to get it I turn to look at Liam. 'So you think I'm pretty?' I ask, while I bet my eyelashes.
He snorts and turns to the boy behind the counter after he has given me my donut. I start to sit down at my usual table. It is close enough to the counter so I can hear what Liam is saying.
'Hey Theo.' They do the bro greeting thing.
'Hey man, what can I do for you?' He asks. Apparently they know each other. And they're friendly too.
'Come on man, you know what I want to know.' He says. It gets harder for me to hear because he has started talking softer. 'Have you talked to her. I need to get her on board or this is all going to backfire in my face.' What? I have no idea what he is talking about. Maybe something for his work.
'Don't worry man, I got you.' Theo says. He grabs something out of his pocket. A USB-stick, do they even use those anymore? Right before Theo gives it to Liam he quickly pulls away. 'But when I give you this, we are even. Understood? I don't want to do your stupid little assignments anymore.'
