Cameron Peterson shut her locker, backpack strap on her shoulder as she watched a boy attempt to ask for help. Her eyebrow raised a bit, head tilting to the side as he made an annoyed face. "Are you lost?" She asked, walking over as he started at her - he was maybe a inch or two taller. "Yeah, it's my first day, can't find the cafeteria." He shrugged, then offered an annoyed-less smile, "I'm Jack!"

She smiled brightly, nodding, "I'm Cameron! Not new, but welcome to Seaford! I can take you to the cafeteria, if you want." The blonde offered. Jack had shaggy brown hair and a mole on his cheek. Cute, but not Cameron's type. He nodded, finally looking a bit relaxed, "That would be a huge help."

He waited for her to move, though looked confused as she looped their arms together, leading him down the hall and through double doors to the cafeteria. It never felt like a proper cafeteria, it was really small. Though, the school always seemed to cut back on the funds to. . . anything. "I hope the rest of your first day was good! I'd say I knew how first day jitters felt, but I've never felt those. People love me too much for me to feel nervous!" Cameron smiled, getting a confused look from Jack as she let go of his arm.

She lightly pushed him into the cafeteria line, only making him more confused, "You aren't getting anything?" He asked, and she shook her head, "I have foods after lunch, where I'm allowed to take whatever we make!" "No you ain't, honey." She frowned, looking past Jack to the lunch lady, Marge. The woman gave her a look, making Cameron tilt her head to the side. Jack looked confused, before smiling at the woman, "It's my first day, what would you recommend?" He asked.

"Not this stuff. I don't know what half of it is!" Marge sighed, motioning to the food. Cameron turned away, only to be met with the familiar face of her best friend, Kim. "Kimmy!" She grinned, making the other blonde fumble with the apple she had been tossing in the air. It went to fall, when Jack caught it with his foot, tossing it back up to catch it.

Kim blinked, staring at him before scoffing a bit, "Alright, that was almost cool. . . I'm Kim." She introduced as Cameron gave her a side hug, "I'm Jack. I'm new." He nodded, making Kim nod and laugh a bit, "Yeah, I can tell. You still got that new-guy smell." They both chuckled lightly, shuffling around. Cameron looked from her best friend to Jack, then back again with a big grin. Without even looking at her, Kim elbowed her lightly, "Can I. . . have my apple back?"

Jack blinked, then nodded, "Oh, yeah! Here," He handed it back, smiling, "Maybe I'll see you two around?" "Maybe you will." Kim nodded, and Cameron's smile came back wide, "Of course, bye Jack!"

The two blondes sat down with the cheer squad, since they were both on the team, as Cameron dug through her bag. "So. . . what do you think of our new friend? I think he's cute." She hummed, looking up from her backpack as Kim fidgeted with the stem of the apple, biting at her lower lip. "Kimmy, I told you to stop doing that, it'll mess up the blood flow and you'll get sores!" She sighed, finally finding the red and black nail polish in her bag.

Cameron looked back up to find her best friend looking at her confused, "I mean, it'll do something like that. . ." She shrugged, unscrewing the red color. Kim did karate with the Black Dragons, who's colors were red and black, and since a tournament was coming up, to cheer on her best friend, she would paint her nails the dojo colors. She's been doing that since Kim first picked up karate, even if she hated the color combo.

"Well, he is cute." Kim finally answered, making the other blonde grin as she started painting, "I knew it! You both totally zoned out and stared at each other, it was kind of weird and creepy." She smiled, causing Kim to roll her eyes, "We did not-"

They both looked up as a fight broke out, the new kid Cameron was already so fond of fighting the whole table of Black Dragons. Just because her best friend went to karate at the dojo, didn't mean she had to like the rest of the members. She looked back down to continue her nails, leaning away from the table as Jack jumped up, using it to jump over a diving dragon.
