Charlie opened his eyes groggily, trying to make sense of his surroundings. The dull grey walls and iron bars that surrounded him reminded him that he was in a jail cell. Memories of the previous night flooded his mind, and he shuddered as he recalled the events that had led him here.
He heard footsteps approaching, and a jangle of keys signalled the arrival of an officer. Charlie sat up, rubbing his eyes as the officer unlocked the cell door.
"You've got a phone call," the officer grunted. "Be quick, you only have five minutes."
Charlie stood up, still feeling a little dizzy from his slumber. He followed the officer to the phone booth, his hands shaking with nerves. He picked up the phone, bringing it to his ear.
"Hello?" he said tentatively.
"Hello, Charlie," a voice said on the other end of the line. "I have some bad news."
Charlie's heart sank. "Stop it. Leave me alone!"
"The police have evidence that links you to the murder of those stupid little high school sluts," the killer said gravely. "They might even give you the chair".
"I haven't done anything to you!"
"Don't play dumb with me, Charlie," Ghostface hissed. "I know you've been sniffing around, asking questions. That's not a wise move."
"I don't know anything about your business," Charlie said, feeling trapped and scared.
"Then you're useless to me," Ghostface spat. "Maybe I'll have to teach you a lesson. Make sure you stay out of my way, or else. Maybe I'll go and kill your little friend Veronica. Or maybe Oliver. Hmmm they sound like fun".
The line went dead, and Charlie was left shaking with fear. He knew that Ghostface was capable of terrible things, and he didn't know how to protect himself from the dangerous criminal's wrath. He would have to be careful and watch his back, knowing that he was in grave danger. He needed to warn the others.
But how?
Veronica is a sixteen-year-old girl with striking features and a captivating personality. She stands tall at 5'8" with a slender, athletic build that reflects her active lifestyle. Her almond-shaped eyes are a deep shade of hazel, and her wavy, chestnut hair cascades down her back in loose curls. Despite her youth, Veronica exudes a sense of maturity beyond her years. She's intelligent, thoughtful, and introspective, often spending her time lost in her thoughts or engrossed in a good book. She has a strong sense of self and is unafraid to stand up for what she believes in, even if it means going against the crowd. Veronica is a natural leader and is well-respected by her peers. She has a kind heart and is always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to those in need. She's also fiercely independent and values her freedom and autonomy above all else.
She had soft music playing downstairs as she got ready for another quiet night in.
Veronica walked into her bathroom, feeling tired and achy after a long day. She could feel the tension in her muscles, and her feet were sore from running up and down the court for hours. As she reached for the faucet, Veronica turned on the warm water and let it fill the bathtub. She added a few drops of lavender essential oil, letting the soothing scent waft through the air. She watched as the water rose higher and higher, the bubbles forming and swirling around her.
With a contented sigh, Veronica slipped off her clothes and climbed into the bath, feeling the hot water enveloping her body. She let out a deep breath and leaned back against the bathtub, closing her eyes and letting the warmth seep into her muscles. For a few moments, Veronica simply relaxed, enjoying the silence and the feeling of weightlessness. Then, she reached for a book on the nearby shelf and started to read, letting the words carry her away to another world.
