"Welcome to act 3," Oliver says.
Oliver walks over to Charlie and grabs him and lifts him to his feet and throws him into the corner of the kitchen where he holds onto the counter. Charlie slams into the corner of the kitchen, knocking over a stack of plates and glasses as he lands hard on the ground. He groans in pain and holds onto the counter to steady himself, his head spinning from the impact.
Oliver steps closer, his face twisted into a snarl. "You think you're so tough, Charlie," he hisses. "But you're nothing compared to us."
Charlie tries to push himself up, but his injured side throbs with pain and he can't find the strength to stand. He looks up at Oliver with fear in his eyes.
"What are you going to do to me?" he asks, his voice trembling.
Oliver reaches down and grabs Charlie by the hair, pulling him up to his feet. "We're going to finish what we started," he says, his eyes blazing with hatred. "And this time, there won't be any survivors."
Oliver paces back and forth in front of Charlie, his eyes blazing with anger as he speaks. "My brother failed, Charlie. He couldn't finish the job, but we won't make the same mistake. We'll finish what he started, and we'll do it better."
Charlie groans in pain and clutches at his wounded side, struggling to catch his breath. "What are you talking about?" he asks, his voice weak.
"Charlie Walker! I'm going to finish what he started!" Oliver snarled. "Jesus, you were so easy to frame! Just a single strand of hair that I took off your jacket and the police did the rest!"
Charlie closed his eyes and groaned before opening them and looking at Julian. "What about you? What's your motive?"
Julian reveals that he is Jill Roberts' cousin and that he always admired her for being a part of the infamous Woodsboro killings. He explains that he wanted to continue the legacy of Ghostface and become a part of the horror history himself. Julian had been waiting for the right opportunity to strike, and when he met Oliver, he found the perfect partner in crime to carry out their twisted plan.
Julian's voice shook with anger as he spoke, "I grew up in Woodsboro listening to all these stories about Sidney Prescott and how she survived being attacked by Ghostface not once, but six times. Everyone praised her for it. Meanwhile, my cousin Jill was living a nightmare. She was constantly compared to Sidney, and it drove her crazy. When she finally snapped and killed all those people, I understood where she was coming from. I didn't agree with what she did, but I understood it. And now, we're going to finish what she started."
Kirby enters the kitchen with her pistol raised, looking determined and ready for a fight. She scans the room, her eyes landing on Charlie in the corner and the two killers, Oliver and Julian, standing in the centre. Her grip on the gun tightens as she takes in the scene, and she steps forward, positioning herself on the other side of the kitchen counter.
"Jill Roberts, huh?" She snarls.
Julian growls in anger.
"She was my best friend. Damn, she was good as well. Nearly got away with it".
Charlie's face lights up with relief as he sees Kirby, and he lets out a sigh of relief. Kirby's arrival feels like a ray of hope in the midst of all the chaos and danger. He watches as she raises the gun and points it at the killers, her expression steely and focused.
Charlie quietly slips out of the room and enters the hallway. Charlie's eyes widen in horror as he sees Chad's lifeless body slumped against the wall. Blood stains his shirt and a knife is plunged into his stomach. Charlie recoils in shock and takes a step back, struggling to comprehend what he's seeing. He feels sick to his stomach and the sight of his friend's gruesome death nearly overwhelms him. He can't believe that this is happening, that he's trapped in this nightmare with no escape. For a moment, he feels a sense of hopelessness wash over him as he stares at Chad's lifeless body, but then he remembers that he needs to keep moving, to keep fighting for his survival.
He slowly extends his hand for the knife and when he grabs it and pulls it out of Chad his eyes dart open and he gasps.
Charlie covers his mouth. "Shhh, don't make a sound. Act dead. I'm going to get us out of here".
Kirby prepares to fire the weapon but it jams and doesn't go off, Oliver charges at her and kicks her in the chest as hard as he can. Her back flips over the lounge and smashes through the coffee table. Kirby stumbles back, her eyes wide with shock and pain as she crashes through the coffee table, shattering it into pieces. She lands on her back, gasping for air as she struggles to get up. Oliver approaches her, a twisted grin on his face as he raises his knife. Kirby reaches out, trying to grab something, anything to defend herself, but her hand only finds a broken piece of wood from the table. She grips it tightly, ready to fight for her life.
She whacks the knife out of his hand as he goes to stab her. He cries out and holds his hand with the other, then Kirby kicks his knee and he falls back to the floor. Kirby stands up and goes to strike him when Julian barges through and they collide.
At that moment Oliver goes after Charlie.
Oliver charges towards Charlie, his hunting knife glinting in the dim light of the house. Charlie turns and runs, darting down the hallway and into the living room. Oliver is hot on his heels, his footsteps pounding behind him. Charlie leaps over the couch, trying to put as much distance as possible between himself and the killer. He hears Oliver's heavy breathing as he rounds the corner and heads towards the stairs. Charlie knows he needs to find a way out, or he's as good as dead.
As they run up the stairs, Charlie feels his heart pounding in his chest. He can hear Oliver's heavy footsteps behind him and he knows he's getting closer. Suddenly, he feels a sharp pain in the back of his leg and stumbles forward. He looks down to see a deep cut on his calf, blood pouring out of it.
Charlie grits his teeth in pain and keeps moving, knowing that he can't stop now. Oliver's knife glints in the dim light as he continues to chase Charlie up the stairs, his breath ragged and his eyes wild with excitement. Charlie's heart races faster as he reaches the top of the stairs, and he sees the door to the attic just a few feet away.
With a burst of energy, Charlie sprints towards the door, but he can feel Oliver's hot breath on his neck. He can hear him laughing as he swings the knife at him again, narrowly missing his shoulder. Charlie's hand's fumble with the doorknob, but he finally manages to turn it and fling open the door.
Oliver's footsteps echo behind him as he enters the attic, the knife still clutched in his hand. Charlie turns to face him, his heart pounding in his chest as he prepares for what might be his final stand.
"This is how this movie ends," Oliver says, his voice low and menacing.
Charlie's heart races as he realises the gravity of the situation. He's trapped with a killer who has no mercy. He starts to back away, but Oliver takes a step forward, closing the distance between them. Charlie looks around frantically, searching for any way out, but there's nowhere to go.
He knows he's in trouble, but he refuses to give up without a fight. He stands his ground and squares off with Oliver, waiting for the next move. The tension in the air is palpable as they stare each other down, neither one willing to back down.
Charlie's voice quivered as he called out to Oliver. The fear and sadness in his eyes were palpable. "We were friends," he repeated, hoping that his words would make Oliver stop and think. But Oliver was relentless, his eyes cold and devoid of any emotion. He continued to chase Charlie, determined to carry out his plan to the bitter end. Charlie couldn't believe that the person he had once called a friend was now trying to kill him. His heart ached with a deep sense of betrayal, and he couldn't help but wonder where he had gone wrong.
Kirby struggles under Julian's weight, her face turning red as he tightens his grip around her neck. She tries to push him off, but his hold is too strong. With a desperate gasp for air, she manages to get her hand free and strikes Julian across the face with all her might. He reels back in pain, and she takes advantage of the moment to shove him off of her and scramble to her feet. As she backs away, gasping for air, Julian rolls over onto his back. He is directly underneath the large TV.
Kirby runs over to it and grabs it and yanks it down.
The heavy TV crashes onto Julian's head, sparks flying as the electric current surges through his body. Kirby recoils from the shock, but Julian remains motionless, his body now lifeless.
"I saw that in a scary movie once".
