We had band practice around noon today, which meant I could spend the first half of the day in bed. I had been crying all night, my feelings for the boys got more complicated by the second. I couldn't believe all of the drama that has occurred over my short time with the Honeyboys.

My eyes were swollen and puffy. I decided it was time to get up and face the day. I didn't hear Matt come home last night and I was worried he wouldn't make it into practice. What if I am the reason the Honeyboys split up? I don't know if I could live with myself. My eyes start to water again. There is no use crying, I could barely understand Matt's feelings to begin with, I can't predict how he will respond.

After showering and getting dressed, I head downstairs to meet the boys in the garage. Before entering I hear laughter coming from inside the room. Strange, but maybe yesterday was all a terrible dream, maybe @slobaddiesoffical never exposed my love life. That was too good to be true.

As I walk in, all of the boys are there... except Matt. Instead, Matt's spot is filled by a brunette man with long curly hair. I have never seen him before but he is so comfortable with Ari, Nick, Reese and Grady.

"Hi, I am Drake! It's nice to meet you!" the stranger exclaims. "He is filling in for Matt." Ari added, "because... you know..." Ari is struggling to find the words to describe the absence of Matt. We really didn't know when or if he would come back.

Diverting the awkward tension, Reese motions for us to start practice. Although it was comforting being able to release my feelings into music, it didn't feel the same without Matt. His playing helped steady our music, he pushed us forward in each song as he jammed along to Ari's voice. After a few hours we decided to wrap up the practice.

"Maybe we should go to Trivia! Kreuzberg always has the best." Grady suggests. "It might be a great way to have a little fun and loosen up before the Battle of the Bands."

It's not like we had much planned, so the six of us headed down town for a boys night. We got to the coffeeshop and approached the beautiful, blonde barista. She served us a fun drink to get us ready for the questions.

As soon as we sat down, we noticed that the theme for this week's trivia was music! It couldn't have been more up our alley. We decided to name ourselves the "Honey Bois" just for a little giggle. The quiz master starts giving us the questions and we are killing it. This was such a fun activity and Ari even got his arm stuck in the booth. I really feel at home with these boys, I just wish Matt was here to share in the fun.

We finally get to the last question, we have to name the song. The quiz master announces that it is a local band. All of us stir in anticipation, we know all the local bands, we have this question down. Suddenly a sweet melody starts playing...

Wish I could tell you

Why we fell through

Flower crowns were in her hair

The sun was shining

While we were walking

The smell of love was in the air

Deserted on a tightrope

Babe i'm balancing for you

A thousand feet up high

And I don't know what to do....

As the song fades out we all realize that it's the Honeyboys' song, it's our song. I guess you could say we heard it through the Grapevine.
