━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━𝐊𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐍 stared at the bottle of 𝑫'𝑼𝑺𝑺𝑬́. Kay had been drinking for hours, trying to think of a way to find Santana. We knew that she hadn't been in New York, we had been trying to figure out what state she was currently in. They couldn't have gone that far.
When 𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 had told him that Janiyah was nowhere to be seen, he knew that they had taken her too. In the time he had started getting to know both Santana and Janiyah, they became family.
Looking around his room noticing that there had been liquor everywhere, along with plastic cups. Kay's room smelled like alcohol and weed making his face scrunch up at the smell.
𝐊𝐀𝐘 knew that if Santana saw the state his room had been in, she would curse him out and tell him to clean it which only made him stand up and stack the empty plastic cups on top of one another and throw into a plastic bag and pour the ones that had been filled into the sink. When he was done, he grabbed the liquor bottles and poured them down the sink as well before taking a shower himself.
Once he stepped out of the shower and changed into his clothes, Kay heard his phone ring from his room making him walk out of the bathroom and looked at the number which had been a Bridgeport zip code which confused him.
"Who this?" Kay asked after he had memorized the phone number.
On the other side of the line, there wasn't any noise being heard besides the sound of rain hitting against some type of platform.
Unbeknownst to Kay, Santana had dialed the number with the phone that Tyshawn had dumbfoundingly left in the room. A few hours before she called Tyshawn had brutally heartened both Janiyah and Santana causing them both to earn internal bleeding as bruises started to form on their abdomen.
There was nothing neither one of them could do to defend themselves due to the fact they had still been tied down onto the chairs.
"T-" Santana mumbled in a dazed state before stopping her sentence. Even trying to put the effort to talk physically pained her whole body.
Over the time she had been there, Santana wondered what did she do to deserve every negative circumstance that happened in her life. After all, she was a good person growing up. One minute everything was okay then the next, she had lost her best friend and mother. All within two years. Nobody deserves that.
There hadn't been a day in her life in which Santana hadn't thought of Layla or her mom.
Kay's heart dropped at the sound of Santana's voice. Although he couldn't see how she looked like, he knew that she wasn't okay. Opening his mouth to say something, Kay was met with the sound of the phone call ending.
"Yo" Setty said as he repeatedly knocked on the bedroom door before Kay let him come inside.
"You remember ole nigga that Satan used to fuck with and y'all ass thought y'all took care of that nigga?-" Setty said before placing multiple pictures of Janiyah's apartment which had shown blood smeared on the bathroom door; a broken glass, blood on her bedsheets. The next few pictures showed the park in which Santana had been in where they found blood smeared on the floor, footage of her being stabbed, and separate audio recordings recorded by neighbors of both Santana and Janiyah asking for help.
Kay's heart sank as he looked through all the evidence Setty had brought before he leaned against his nightstand. Truthfully, the only thing he wanted to do was kill someone.
