Nora
Because you are my wife
His words did circles around my mind eventually distracting me from my work.
"What is on your mind Nor?", my father asked me. "Nothing", I answered and looked up at him. "Was Volkov with you yesterday night ?", he asked raising a brow. "Yes, he came by after work.", I explained.
"So why did your husband call me to ask if he could buy Sanzes?", he asked me looking amused. "I don't know.", I shrugged and looked back at the paperwork in front of me. "Really?", he asked. In the next second I felt the papers being pulled away underneath my hands.
"What's this you are reading?", he asked as he started reading it. "NOTHING BABI", I screamed trying to take it out of his hands. "As mos e provo.",(Don't even try[to take the paper out of my hand]) he spoke in our mother tongue.
I sat back down rubbing my forehead. "What's this?", he asked looking even more amused than before. "Nothing.", I sighed shaking my head. "She's trying to find out everything about her husband.", my oldest brother chimed in as he entered my office.
"Nobody asked somebody as dumb as you mind your business.", I snapped at him. "Nora.", my dad interrupted us. I crossed my arms and leaned back. "Why don't you just ask him?", my brother asked. "That's weird.", I shrugged.
"At least he picked a pretty ring.", my dad said as he put the papers on my desk. I looked at it and just now realized how beautiful it actually was. I shrugged and looked at my family members.
"By the way he's at the door.", my brother informed me. "Let him in.", my dad said. "What no.",I tried to stop my brother as he walked to the door. I quickly put all the papers together and threw them into the drawer of my desk quickly locking it.
"Good morning", my husband said as he entered the room. "Morning.", I sighed and organized my paperwork on my desk. "We'll get going.", my father said as he got up. "No Babi you can stay, we don't mind right?", I asked my husband who just nodded. "I have something's I need to attend to. You two do what you have to", my father waved us off.
"What do you need?", I asked him. "I need you to move in with me.", he spoke. "No.", I put my foot down and crossed my arms.
"Don't do that.", he sighed. "I told you once. I'm not moving in with you.", I shrugged. "Wrong topic.", he said as he started rubbing his forehead. "Then what's the topic?", I asked him.
"Your boobs almost popping out you shirt when you cross your arms like that.", he stated and looked up at me.
What
"What", I asked baffled as I leaned forward. He shrugged and leaned back in the chair he was sitting. "Have I told you how hot you look?", he asked. "If you are trying to make me want to move in with you, it won't work.", I said putting my elbows down on the desk. "I'm not.", he shook his head.
He definitely was
He took a second to stare at me when I shrugged. "Why don't you want to move in with me?", he asked. "Because I like my apartment.", I shrugged. "Than I'll move in with you.", he shrugged in response. "Okay. I'll get the guest room ready then.", I shrugged and got up putting my jacket on.
"What?!", he asked. "Did you think I'd share my bed with you?", I asked him. "Yes.", he stated. "Definitely not.", I shook my head. "Nobody sleeps in my bed except for me.", I added. "Why not?",he asked. "Because I don't want them to. ", I shrugged. "And if you don't have anything else to say I'll get going.", I said and opened the door.
