- I don't think that's a good idea. - Hoseok replied as he took his place at the dining table in the lavish dining hall.
The boys sat and waited for what would happen next. Sebastian didn't take the smile off his face, while he carefully took out seven envelopes from his coat, which were addressed with the names of everyone present in the room.
- Please, start eating, my sons... - he spoke to them while pointing with his hand to the various dishes that decorated the dining table.
He placed the envelopes under his napkin and then used a fork to stab a large piece of meat that was on his plate.
Everyone looked in his direction. Some watched his reactions while others carefully looked at those envelopes wondering what secrets they were hiding.
Namjoon broke the silence by rattling his cutlery. Even though nobody felt like eating, they decided to pass the time that way. Because they knew Sebastian would not easily stop his action.
Finally, the loud wiggling of the chair and the blow to the table disturbed the heavy silence. All eyes were fixed on the priest. He rose, took his position by the chair. With fork, he knocked several times in a glass with champagne, intending to make a speech.
- My children, my sons... you have made me proud for years... thank you for coming tonight to the mansion which I built for you so long ago. Thank you for always being obedient and good sons. Raise your glasses with me... and let's toast to wonderful proud times! - everyone looked at him palely, no one dared to really raise their glasses.
Their eyes wandered from the smiling Sebastian to the eyes of the others. Nobody knew what was happening.
Sebastian didn't seem to mind that no one toasted with him. He drank the entire contents of the glass and put it down on the table. He wiped his mouth with his hand and then turned his attention to the envelopes.
- You see... this is something that will change your life... something that will remind you of who and what you are. As you reminded me today.
Silence.
Their gazes remained riveted in front of them, and the cold room was the exact opposite of their stormy thoughts.
- The only thing I asked of you... - the priest lowered his head while holding on to the edge of the table with his hands. Then he looked up and flew over all the seven figures sitting motionless in front of him.
- I have provided you with schooling and training and a whole fortune. I gave you my whole life... ungrateful brats! I gave you a roof over your head... I pulled you out of those holes... who knows where you would be if I hadn't... and you committed the worst sin... what I told you since you were a children, hm? You were clearly forbidden that sin. - occasional heavy sighs were heard, but still no one dared to speak.
- You opposed me... I gave you my whole life, that's why I'm going to take it away from you...
In a moment, Yoongi got up from the chair whose legs creaked, while he held on to the revolver around his waist. He didn't know what Sebastian was ready for, so he wanted to prepare for the worst just in case.
The priest gave him a look that froze his blood in the veins.
- Yoongi... you of all people should know best that I would never turn to such violent behavior. - and then he looked away from the man who slowly began to settle back into his chair.
- Let's start from... - he paused while sorting through the envelopes. As if it were a prize game, he pulled out an envelope with one name written on it. He read it out loud.
