"What time you coming out? We started losing light; I'll never make it right if you don't want me 'round."

Troye was beyond furious.
"Troye, don't be mad," Connor soothed the boy, putting his hand up to the computer screen. "We all make stupid mistakes."
"Not ones that ruin relationships."
"Well, we're still here, aren't we?" Connor tilted his head.
"Yes, but we would've been together longer if somebody hadn't tried to tear us apart!" Troye shot daggers at Blessing, his expression infuriated. "Blessing, I trusted you. I should've known it was you."
"Connor, Troye..." Blessing began. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I've done to hurt you. I let jealousy get the best of me."
"Why though, Bless? Why would you stoop so low?" Troye blinked back angry tears.
"I love you, Troye. I really do. I've known for a while, and seeing you with Connor really hurt me. I don't know what came over me." Blessing suddenly noticed Ben in the background of the screen. "Benny!"
Ben stared coldly at the man. "I thought you were better. You knew that I didn't know what I was doing. You sabotaged Connor and Troye, and that's not cool."
"You hurt us, Blessing. Deeply." Connor said quietly through the computer.
"I know. And I'll leave you alone. You all didn't deserve any of this."
"Get out of my house," Troye pointed at the door.
"Okay. I'm sorry... Again." With that, Blessing was gone.
"Are y'all okay over there?" Tyler asked, walking through the door and eyeing Blessing sadly moping away.
"Tyler, now is not the time," Troye said in a distressed manner.
"But I just bought some ice cream, and I thought we could all share some-"
"Tyler, if you would please just leave me alone for one minute! I get that you were mad, and that you wanted to get with me but I declined, and I'm sorry, but that's not the problem now!"
Tyler stepped back with a hurt expression on his face. "I'm sorry, Troye. I just.. I just wanted your forgiveness."
"What? Forgiveness for you falling for me?"
"What? No, forgiveness for me cheating on you."
"Huh?" No. He didn't need this now. Not after he found out that his best friend nearly ruined his life.
"Uh, well.. I cheated on you with Steele. I mean, am cheating. Not when we were at the airport, but, like, after you rejected me. I wanted to make you jealous, and I never intended to really fall for Steele, but things happen. It's bad, I know. I was so desperate, and I'm sorry. I don't want to get back with you if you're happy with Connor; I just want you to forgive me for this mistake."
Troye paused. "So.. You're sorry for being with my brother."
"Yes. Wait-- no, girl, I'm not sorry! I feel bad for doing it without telling you, but I'm not sorry for dating him."
"Hey, you should be free to date whoever you want. Right, Tro?" Connor said shyly, causing Tyler and Troye to glance at his computer.
"Yeah. Thanks for telling me, Ty."
"So that's an okay, right?"
"Sure. If you and Steele are happy together, then I'm one hundred percent supportive." Troye cracked into a tired smile.
"As am I," Connor chimed through the screen. Ben, who was still sitting at the table, nodded in approval.
"Thanks, y'all," Tyler grinned. "I'm, uh, going to go back to the Trevor Project. Enjoy your ice cream!"
"Enjoy yours, too," Connor winked, making everyone laugh. After the man left, Connor turned to Troye. "It's done. Everything is safe now, right?"
"Yeah," Troye said unenthusiastically. "We can finally... be safe from harm."
"Yeah. We can finally be together." Connor seemed oblivious to Troye's discomfort.
"Well..."
"Hey," Connor smiled. "Have patience, Troye. I'm making plans to move to Australia, remember?"
"I know."
"Yeah, I'll do that as soon as possible. We can rent a flat or something, and live together. Just the two of us." He continued, grinning. "In less than a year, I hope! I've already put my house on sale. What d'ya think?"
"I can't wait." The other man's voice sounded deflated. As if he were still worried.
"Are you still thinking about Blessing?" There was no reply. "Troye," the American pleaded. "Please, he's out of our lives."
"He is not out of mine. Blessing is still technically living here, and I can't pay rent alone. Plus, now that Tyler and Steele are together, Tyler isn't coming to at least keep me company. Sage and Tyde are busy; they've got their own lives to live. So, I'm all alone."
"You've got me," Connor cut in. "Tyler and Steele's relationship is no longer our concern; it never should've been in the first place. I'll help to pay your rent, so you don't have to worry about that."
"I'll get Tyde to come hangout at your place. I'll swing by too, if that's cool with you," Ben piped.
"Okay, yeah. That's fine." Troye sighed, looking down. "I'm really sorry, Connie. Actually, my apologies go to both of you."
"It's not your fault." Connor spoke softly.
"But it is. I got mad, I stayed, no-- slept with Tyler, I--" Troye's voice broke. "I broke your heart."
"No, you didn't. It's still here." Connor placed a hand on his chest, breaking into a contagious smile.
"Oh, hey, my mom just called. I have to go, but I'll catch up with you guys next time?" Ben interuppted the couple timidly.
"Sounds good. Let's meet up sometime, Ben." Connor dipped his head.
"Okay. And, uh, sorry about.. everything. I didn't mean to hurt you guys."
"It's okay. You're not the one to blame," Troye smiled.
"Alright. Uh, so, catch you later!" The teen waved, then hurried out the door, disappearing within the crowds and traffic of the outside world.
Connor giggled at the boy's antics, turning back to face his laptop.
"I fall in love with you every time you do that, you know." Troye grinned from ear to ear.
"I fall for you all the time." The other blushed. "I cherish you, Troye."
"Cherish?"
"Love is overrated, in my opinion."
"Oh. Then I cherish you, too."
Connor was going to say something when his phone beeped angrily. "Oh, I have to go," he frowned.
"Call me soon, okay?" Troye asked.
"I will."
"I cherish you, Con."
"As do I, Tro. Don't worry; we'll figure this out, okay? I know we will."
"I know. See you, Connie Frannie."
"'Till next time, Troye Boy."
Troye smiled for what felt like the first time in months.
Then he hung up.
"Don't you see me? I'm... I think I'm falling--I'm falling for you."
