"I'm still thinking about how much I need you, but you really want somebody else."
--
"So I need you to find someone who has good background knowledge on coffee and how to make it. And he or she has to be here for at least two weeks. Got it?"
"Yes, Bless," Troye nodded. "We've been over this."
"Just making sure," Blessing replied. "And remember: if you do anything in my bed, clean the sheets. I don't want to get STDs next time I don't wear pajamas."
"God, Bless. I'm not going to do anything."
"Alright, alright. Whatever you say. Love you, darling," Blessing said as he walked to where his flight was boarding.
"See you in a few, Bless!" Troye waved at the fading figure. After he could no longer see his roommate, Troye proceeded to walk back to where his car was parked. Just as he did, he bumped into a smaller figure.
"Sorry!" He recognized that voice. Could it be...
"Tilly?"
"Troye?" The man looked quite surprised.
"Tilly!" Troye smiled, hugging the shorter man lovingly.
"Troye, babe," Tyler laughed, stuffing a bottle of which Troye assumed was vodka in his luggage. "How have you been?"
"Good! We haven't talked in a while; are you doing alright?"
"Yeah! I'm doing great."
"So, what brings you to Australia? Did you come to visit?"
"Oh, I was, uh, planning to surprise you! I had some stuff to do here anyways, like the Trevor Project and other things."
"You were going to surprise me?" Troye murmured. He looked more surprised himself.
"Of course, babe!" Tyler plastered on another grin. "Anyways, what brings you here?"
"Just dropping off Blessing," Troye shrugged.
"Cool." Tyler glanced around, then faced the taller boy once more. "Are we still, like, together, or have you met some cuter dude?"
"Tilly, of course we're still together!" Troye defended himself. "There couldn't possibly be anyone..."
"Anyone?"
"Anyone, uh, better than you."
Tyler paused. "It's Blessing, isn't it?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh, my god. You totally hooked up with him, huh?"
"What on Earth--Tilly, are you okay?"
"I'm... Yeah, I'm good."
"Are you in a rush or something?"
"No. I mean, sorta? Just, uh, things." Tyler hastily said, rushing his words as he looked around again.
Troye thought for a moment, then looked at Tyler with a sorrowful expression. "We're not together, are we?"
"What?"
"The vodka. You know I hate vodka."
"What are you talking about?" Tyler tried, but Troye just shook his head sadly.
"Tyler, who is picking you up? Really? I know you didn't come to see me."
"Troye, I think you should go." The older man said, staring not at Troye, but at an approaching figure.
Troye ignored Tyler's comment. "No, I want to know. Who's this guy you've been talking to for--Jesus, who knows how long?"
"Troye--" Tyler started.
But before he could finish, a man walked up to Tyler.
One that Troye recognized immediately to be his older brother, Steele.
