Roxy stretched extensively and sleeply opened her eyes. She heard a strange whirring sound. She raised her head and looked slightly annoyed at the fluffy ball. Tiger purred terribly loudly! "Tiger please shut up!" Roxy meowed. "Huh? What...?" replied Tiger, drowsy.  She sighed.

Roxy walked over to her housekeeper and looked at her, then she looked at the door, then back at her housekeeper. She repeated this until her human understood the hint and opened the garden door.

She meowed, gave it a cup, and walked out.

She jumped up the gate and looked around a bit. /Hmm...I think I'm going to catch a mouse for my breakfast!/ Roxy licked her lips and scrambled off the gate and into the neighbor's yard. The black and white she smelled a strong, unfamiliar smell, and she crouched down and followed the smell. Suddenly she saw a large, strongly built tomcat that was washing itself. Roxy very quietly crept closer until she could study the cat very closely. The strange tomcat smelled strongly of woods and other cats. But apparently she had rustled the bush under which she was sitting because suddenly the cat was gone. All she had been able to inspect were his eyes, his beautiful blue eyes.

Roxy ran back to her house, where she was greeted by a fantastic smell of chicken! Only when she had finished eating did she notice that the whole living room was full of large square boxes, which were packed. "Telma?" She walked to the favorite spot of the ancient, roste cat. "Why are there those square boxes on the floor?" Telma turned and looked at Roxy, she grunted. "Stay away from me, you hyperactive raccoon!" Roxy looked at the cat, rolled her eyes and walked far away from Telma. She was almost knocked down by Tiger chasing a ball of wool.

The she-cat looked at her brother and sniffed, irritated. She trotted toward the door and sat down. Her thoughts were interrupted by the loud scream of-. "TIGER!!" Telma lunged at Tiger who ran like a tornado, meowing loudly. The old cat stumbled back to her basket, on top of the washing machine. Roxy layed down in front of the window, curled up into a fluffy ball and fell asleep... Suddenly she was shaken awake, she looked up and meowed loudly. Her housekeeper had picked her up! She put her outside, Tiger was already outside, and closed the door behind her. Roxy licked her paw, frustrated. She walked further up the lawn, she sharpened her claws and jumped into a tree.

That was her favorite spot! This way she could see the whole neighborhood, including the large forest ... but she was not allowed to go there. Telma used to say that there were big, scary cats that used the bones of their prey as nests. Roxy washed and jumped out of the tree... she sniffed. Under a bush she saw one pair of ice blue eyes. She recognized them immediately. The cat from earlier!

She jumped out of the tree, but when she got down, the eyes were gone... The bush shook, then it was quiet. Suddenly she heard hissing and screeching of cats, she went to look. Two groups of cats, facing each other. She looked at it, her eyes wide with shock. Roxy quickly scrambled back into her yard and sat there, shivering.
