Khumo's brother has gone overseas for some business. So we decide to go stay with her for a week plus it's a bonus because we had just finished writing our exams. No actually, I arrived there on Monday while the others came on Wednesday. I went to open for them when they knocked.

Alexa: woooooah when did you arrive?

Me: Alexa Mayford, Kuyabuliswa

Her: Lol sorry babe, how are you?

She gave me tight hug before she could enter the house with everybody else following behind her.

They all Then hugged me. Khumo was still upstairs, taking a shower.

Khumo: Ohh Ntokozo, Jay and I are going to buy us food. Our helper is on leave.

Ntokozo: Bro, did you get the invite for that STUDS CITY event? I got mine.

Khumo: WHAAAT? I haven't gotten mine, when is it?

Jay: it's on the 28th

Me: I'm sorry what? You also attend this STUDS CITY EVENT?

Khumo: yes but ......

Me: No girlfriend of mine is gonna go there.

They all looked at me like I'm crazy

Jay: but she has been going even before she knew you, Before Ya'll started dating

Me: she's dating me now and she's not gonna go there anymore. Are we clear khumo?

Khumo: I'm not gonna stay there for long

My Mom called just in time. I answered my phone and walked further from them.

(Okay so lemme explain this quickly, STUDS CITY Event is a studs-Only annual social event for the studs in our community. Not every stud gets the invite to this event , it actually depends on your social status like Soccer players, Instagram influencers, musicians, YouTube content creators, you name them. It Is usually hosted at this strip joint that is owned by some celebrity. So there are women who are organised to keep them entertained. Imagine how crazy that shit is. This event is where you meet all your role models and allowed the platform to get to interact with them, There is some Crazy line up from famous celebrities and DJ's (gay or not). They also get exclusive merchandise by stud city And people dress up for the occasion LIKE SERIOUS DRESS UP, YOU GOT TO LOOK THE PART. Then there is an after party, this is crazy, this Is a party of a lifetime. All hookups happen here. All one night stands happen here, and all meet and greets happen here because once you get the invite, there is already a fem organised for you to be your date. And all the other studs who were not invited to the main event are only allowed to the afterparty. The rules are whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but it would be a choice is you decide to make any further arrangements with the femme after the event. Most people look forward to this event :(

As I was talking to my Mom, I saw them leaving. After I was done with the call, went back to the girls.

Me: how long have you and Ntokozo been together?

Bonolo: 3 years.

Me: and she attends this event every year?

Bonolo: yeah, she gets so stubborn when we have to talk about it. She never listens to me.

Me: So you okay with her being entertained by strippers? And being hooked up with some girl?

Bonolo: strippers?

Me: you didn't know?

Alexa: but they just said it's a pride event for Ama Butch

Me: it is, they knew you went gonna agree that's why they didn't tell you every detail.

Bonolo: Ntokozo ain't going

I just let out a deep sigh. They came back and prepared to serve us.

Khumo: I thought you'd change your minds about studs city.

Me: no babe, let's not even talk about it.

Khumo: but Wena how do you know about what happens there?

Me: seriously? Khumo are you gonna ask me that?

Khumo: I guess I still need to do a lot of convincing

We had lunch together talking about anything but the event that's causing a clear divide between us.

My mom called me..

Me: wow Mom twice in one day?

Her: I'm just excited about this new project that I'm working on.

Me: you selling a new house?

Her: no honey, I'm not talking about that. I will be sponsoring an event.

Me: and what events is it? I thought you sponsor pride events only.

Her: yes Hunny, you're talking to this year's sponsor of STUDS CITY.

Me: WHAAAT?

Her: Ahhh come on Hunny, it is such a great initiative.
