As I woke up I could hear people talking. It was my mom and what sounded like Dimitri's mom. They were arguing. About me. And Dimitri. Why? what was going on. At that moment everything came rushing back and I heard the beeping of a heart monitor and the smell of disinfectants. I tried to move but I couldn't. I don't know why. I couldn't even open my eyes but I could still hear everything. how long have I been here.
My mom and D's mom were still arguing when a doctor came in.
"Ladies please stop arguing, which one of you is Dimitri's mom?"
"I am!" I heard D's mom say.
"Okay ma'am please stay calm. Your son is having a really tough time. We fear that he is not going o make it. The full impact of the truck had been on his side of the jeep. He is bleeding internally in more than one place and he has many broken bones. And I'm afraid there is no way to get him back to the way he was. I am so sorry ma'am."
I know that this is one of the single most hardest things for a doctor to do. But that is life and I do not know what had happened after that but I know that my best friend I going to die. and there Is nothing I can do to help him. I am stuck in this bed because I cant move. I want to see him. I need to see him. Let me see him. Please let me see him. my body started to tingle and I felt a pulling sensation on my body. and then I was looking down on my body. it was beaten up some cuts and bruises. and I think my arm was broken because there was a cast on it. how am I even doing this it must be my magic coming out. I need to find Dimitri I have no idea how long this is going to last. so I started my journey on finding him but I couldn't. so I thought that maybe I can try to use my magic again. so I thought in my head, take me to him, take me to him. and then I opened my eyes and I was standing over him. he looked like death. just by looking at him you could tell that he was not going to make it. I tried to touch his face but I could not. so I started to cry.
"Please don't cry"
I heard it, I heard him, I whipped around and saw him standing there. He looked like himself but different, way different.
"D, how are you here?"
"I don't know Cass, I remember the doctors talking and one of them said that they have to go find my mom. And then like 5 minutes later I heard your voice in my head saying how you need to find me and see me. And then I woke up, well sorta."
He looked down at his body and then he looked at me and smiled his beautiful smile.
"Will you stay with me Cass, until my body gives and my soul leaves?"
"Of course D, I don't want you too leave me though."
"I know Hun but this is going to happen I can feel it is going to come."
"Please D I need you here I need you with me more than anyone else, just you, me and my mom."
And this is the truth I only need him and my mom the whole world could disappear and I would not care as long as I have them with me. I cant lose him I cant lose him, I just cant. and then I heard the sound of his heart monitor it got slower and slower, I looked at him and he looked at me and then the monitor flat lined and I broke down I fell to my knees and I looked up expecting him to be gone but he wasn't he was standing there looking at his hands and then at his body and then he looked at me with a crazy look.
"I'm still here Cass, because of you I'm still here I wont be there physically but I will be here as a ghost I guess haha. I almost went but someone stopped me. a man he said that I needed to stay with you. that you needed me and I couldn't leave you alone. what was his name he told me his name was uh oh yeah Cyprian he told me to stay with you for as long as I can."
"Cyprian, he did that for me, but why, why would he do that for me he hardly even knows me."
From behind me I heard footsteps
"I did it because you and I are destined to be and I knew that not having him with you will hurt you and I don't want to see you hurt."
It was Cyprian, he came because he knew I would have questions. But after he had said what he did, he left. You cant just drop that on someone and just leave.
