Chapter 4

Fourth pov:

"So that's how I came to Thailand to study" Mark says as he plays with his phone on the table

Mark was telling us his background and how he ended up here, don't know how it started but his background was pretty interesting,the only child in the family trying to fulfill his parents dream of becoming a doctor having a lot pressure,he decided to leave them to stay with his uncle here in Thailand which he said was difficult because his parents doesn't want their only child to leave them but after much convincing they allowed him

"So you haven't seen your parents in five years?" Gem asks sulking a little. Like I said I see them being best of friends seeing that gem has similar experience but his parent didn't decide his career didn't push him to become a doctor,he decided it himself but they do sure pressure him. Me am not the only child but that's a story for later

"Yeah but we do talk on the phone tho" Mark says before smiling "the foods here" he finishes causing me to turn my head so fast I thought it's snapped. Thank God. Food

"Here" he waiter says as he places the food on our table "6 hamburgers 6 fish rolls and 3 chocolate milkshake. I'm sorry it came late" he apologize bowing his head while my head was around the fact he just drop six hamburgers on the table. SIX?!!?

"It's alright" Mark says waving him off

"Six hamburgers?" I asks confused as I stare at it in disbelief "who the hell is even eating two?".

"Oh I eat four" marks says like it the most normal thing as he picks up one to eat "the remaining two is for you guys"

"Of course,with you am not even surprised" Gem says taking one

"If it e- uhmmm" I stare at the hamburger in shock as the flavour assaulted my taste buds. Wow. I look at Gem to see him mirroring my expression

"Told you" Mark says obviously

"This is really good" Gem says taking another bite

"I know right" I say filling low-key fulfilled with the outcome of trusting Mark. We sure be coming here

"Oh shit!" Mark suddenly exclaimed as he drop his food trying to hide under the table making both Gem and I alarmed as we held the table from spilling our food

"What's wrong" I asks looking around trying to get was going on

"He's here. Hide me. Hide me!" He says still trying to hide but is failing miserably

"Who's com-"

"I can see you Mark" I get cut of by a guy no not a guy ford Allen THE FORD ALLEN. My jaw dropped as I see him walking to our table with a face cap covered with a hoodie and a blue sweatpant sitting down behind Mark not even sparing me and Gem a glance stopping him from hiding as he pulls him up with his shirt

"Oh hey ford" Mark says coughing a little before sipping his drink and clearing his throat

"Are you ignoring me?" Ford asks pushing his face closer to Marks causing mark to move his head back a little creating space

"Of course not" he says,his voice higher than normal

"You didn't pick your call yesterday and this morning I even called you few minutes ago" ford's says looking down sadness written allover his face.

My jaw still wide open was closed by Gem's hand causing me to look at him to make sure we are actually witnessing this to see him laughing at me closing his mouth with his hand his other hand hitting the table causing the cause of the show to finally spare us a glance
