In the beginning, there was nothing.

Nothing had been created, no being was alive or even existed. Then something happened. A being had formed from that nothingness.

At first the being didn't have a definite shape, it was just a mass of energy and power, ever shifting and changing shape, seemingly floating in the endless void of nothing, when it started to form a more solid shape.

It's started to form its shape into a familiar style figure that one now would describe as a humanoid being, creating a body from its own conscience. The being has no definite gender, but by glance they appeared male, yet it cannot be definite as the concept of gender or sex does not exist yet.

This being became known as xáoç, the first primordial and creator of the universe.

With their power, xáoç created many things such as the universe and and black holes, planets and stars, and many other things.

Yet with all of these creations, xáoç was still alone, so with her power, they created other beings like him.

And thus began the beginning of the universe, under the rule and guide of the primordials.

Years upon years pass by, the shift in the roles of power have changed a few times, from the primordials it went to the titans, and from the titans to the gods.

By this stages the primordials have all faded back to the void, their home, all but one, xáoç the one of the beginning.

Xáoç has watched on as time progressed, has seen all the good and the bad, but had never interfered, instead choosing to observe from afar.

It has been many millenniums that have gone by, and xáoç had been growing curious at one creation, mortals. Her weakest creation, with short lives and hardly and strength had intrigued him. He wanted to know what it was like, to be mortal. He wanted to know what it was like to live a mortal life, ignorant of all the higher powers all around, knowing they only had a limited life and yet enjoy it so much and be grateful. But most of all, she wanted to know what it would be like to not have the burden of such great powers.

After studying the mortals and immortals, she knew what he had to do, to finally live a free life. If they wanted to be mortal, they had to transfer all her power to them.

Though he knew all the risks involved. He can't just give all her power to any random being, a great majority of them are selfish, greedy and power hungry, and if she gave all their powers to the wrong one it would cause great havoc. Another thing was that she knew that the host of their powers was going to have to be half mortal and half immortal, as her power would burn up any being who was just one.

And so he spent his life searching, looking for a demi-immortal that is worthy of her power. She keeps looking and looking, finding possible candidates but immediately ruling them out as he takes a look at their soul, finding the smallest of flaws and not willing to take even the slightest of risks.

His searches become desperate, hope dwindling every time another possible one is rejected, until she finds the one she is looking for. There, on her home planet, is a mortal woman, bearing a child of a god, a demigod. The woman isn't the desired age that xáoç was looking for, the reason being that the mortal has seen to much of the world, knows to much already to be able to gain the power but is also merely just a mortal, however, she can see that this mortal has a pure heart with no flaw, he knew she would raise the demigod right, she was a true queen amongst mortals of any kind.

And so xáoç made their choice, they summoned all their power and placed it in the child, entwining the power and DNA together to become one being and the newest and most powerful primordial, but she also block the power, never to be used, known about or descovered until the time was right.

And with that, xáoç smiled for the first time in the past few centuries, as they started to fade to be reborn as a mortal, with no memories as to who they were before and live out their new and free life, all the while the mother of the demigod smiled happily and looked down to her stomach, a feeling of giddyness swells within her as she felt her child kick inside of her, a pleased glint in her eyes as she knows her son will be a powerful hero, destined for greatness.

The child kicks again and the mortal gently caresses her stomach and slightly grimaces in pain, but she isn't too bothered by it as she is excited for her child's birth. "Soon." she tells herself as she looks at the calendar on the wall, specifically at a specific date that is circled in red, with a note attached to it that reads 'due-date'.

She smiles once more as she heads to the kitchen to get herself a snack, "Soon I shall see you for the first time my son, soon, on the eighteenth I will get to hold you for the first time." She whispers to herself as she walks back out and checks the month of the calendar once more, happy to see that her baby boy is going to be in one of her favourite months, August.

"Soon, my little hero, soon, we'll meet each other, my little Perseus."
