Hermione was a 17-year-old cancer patient at Children's Cancer Center. She had cancer in both of her kidneys. The doctor said that she had a very slim chance of survival because she needed them quickly, and her blood type was hard to find.
Sirius was a 20-year-old studying at med school. He heard about what was happening to the poor kid and decided to help. The doctors were secretly bending truths, they had enough kidneys of her blood type to give her, but her insurance wouldn't pay them a lot of money. So they gave them to other upper-class children.
As time got grimmer and people were preparing to grieve Sirius volunteered to give up both of his kidneys, meaning he would die. The doctor told him it was a stupid thing to do and there was no way to save him, but Sirius didn't care.
Sirius claimed he had a great life even though he hadn't even had a girlfriend or children yet, and said that Hermione deserves one too. He donated both of his kidneys to Hermione and died.
Hermione and her parents were so happy. Hermione became totally cancer free. They were never told about what happened or that Sirius killed himself for Hermione. Hermione eventually worked in the medical field as well. Then she discovered his old file. She then learned what happened that everyone forgot.
She had a son years later. Named Sirius.
