Prompt: Something that you love
Title: The Uncliché Love Story
I don't love a thing, I love a person, and not the people most of the other essays are going to say like their parents. I love my parents as well, but this paper is about my boyfriend, Logan Nguyen.
When I first met Logan, it was at the grocery store in the aisle next to the frozen yogurt. He was nearly killing himself trying to find some type of organic vegetable kind. I nearly vomited at the thought of it, but I listened to her concern. I myself was just looking around until my parents came home because I was bored. By the time he had got so frustrated his head hurt, I pulled out a carton that I had found almost instantly as I was going over to him. I thought it was wickedly funny joke, but he didn't .
He yelled at me like a furious wild beast and snatched it out of my hand before stomping away. After that moment, I said to myself I was crazy in love. Crazy, but true. But it wasn't until the following week that I seen him at school (it's so huge) where I asked him name a total of five times before he said screw off.
I never did. I bugged him endlessly until he said Logan. Then after that, endlessly until he said yes to a movie. The movie yes came a lot quicker, because I could sense he liked me too.
After that day of watching the most budget and pointless movie in the world, my life changed for the better. We'd stay up all night and talk, came up with new ways to entertain each other when we got sick, and never left each other's side.
He's just the most awesome person to be around. His personality can't help but make you want to smile. He's just him. And he just so happens to be perfect.
I remember vividly the first day he visited my house. We played Call of Duty until midnight. (It was one of the instances where he cheated as well) Then after I lost for the thirteenth time he looked at me and said, "You Call that a man Of Duty," The corniest yet cutest thing I have ever heard.
Love isn't even the strongest word to describe how I feel for him. I just feel engulfed. Engulfed in every aspect of him. No matter what he does. As many times that I have told him, I would walk the ocean just to see his eyes, and I would touch the sun to hear him laugh. And not to mention his poetry, I would die to hear that even for a second.
If life is like a box of chocolates, how can you get anything good considering they've all melted.
Just one of his beautiful lines of his words.
He's always on my mind, and always in my vision, and will always be. And I won't have it any other way. And I know for a fact he feels the same way. Like gum stuck on the soles of shoes,
"My love for you, you'll never lose,"
Logan smiled as she folded the paper up.
