Chapter 3

          Your father then walked to your mother and grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out of the room then you ran to your little sister she was only a year younger than you. Jade your sister was crying in your arms and you started to take her up stairs to her room and you put her to sleep. Mike your brother was in his room practicing on his drum set you played the guitar you and your brother would practice all the time together.  You walked into your brother's room and sat on his bed then he stopped playing he got up with a smile and he seemed happy to see you sitting there. Mike then came up to you to give you a hug and he asked how your first day of school was you looked up and smiled at him. You began to tell him about your day and your new friend Sam he seemed happy to hear that you made a new friend. Mike then asked you if you would want to practice playing your favorite song you and your brother loved to sing and play instruments it was always your dream to be a singer. You and your brother then began to play your favorite song.

       It was dinner time and your mother called you and your siblings to come and eat. You hesitate to go down stairs  and just look down at the stairs. You were scared of your father still being drunk and you didn't want to go down there. Your brother came up behind you and tapped you on the back and you turned to look at him then you both went down stairs. You went to the table with your family and you saw that your mother had a black eye and your father was smiling at you with a happy look on his face. You wanted to ask your mother what happened to her but you were too scared to ask about it. Then your father looked at you and asked you how school was and what your day was. You look at your family and tell them about your day and your new friend that you made. After dinner was done and your dad went up stairs to bed you went to talk to your mom about what happened earlier that day when you were gone. Your mother just gave you a sad look and gave you a hug she said that her and your father have been having a lot more fights than before.
