Sam's pov:
Colby and i were exploring Bower's mansion again, alone this time. We were almost done with the second investigation and i was starting to notice that there was something wrong with Colby. He seemed to be shaking and he kept holding his stomach every few minutes. I had known Colby for 10 years. I could always tell when something was off. I always knew when something wasn't quite right, even if he didn't admit it. Honestly, the amount of times he's felt sick on an exploration and didn't tell anyone, well, it's infinite. He would only tell me when he couldn't handle it alone or when he literally fainted.
"Colby, can- can we cut the camera for a sec?"
"Er, yeah sure, what's up?"
I heard the click as he turned the camera off.
"Are you okay? You don't seem entirely... well."
"Well, i'm not unwell..."
He swayed on the spot for a second. He looked drained and pale. His cheeks seemed to be dusted with fever and he kept swaying.
"Are you sure you're feeling okay? Colby?"
He was doubled over, clutching his stomach. His features where plagued with a grimace. He drew in a deep breath and tried to stand up, to no avail. He collapsed into my arms. He looked up to me, his cerulean eyes clouded with fever. He looked stunned. I could feel his body temperature burning my skin.
"Heh, maybe i'm not okay?"
"Ya think? Okay, so, what else is wrong with you?"
"Well, my head hurts, err i feel kind dizzy, and maybe a bit lightheaded."
"Anything else?"
"My stomach hurts and i feel kinda nauseous. I just don't feel good at all."
"Wait, when did you start feeling like this?"
"Um... just after coming out of Bernard's room, i think."
"Could it possibly be Bernard doing this to you? Didn't we say that we would never return here, and then we did? And i'm pretty sure that you said you would't ever go back into Bernard's room and then you literally just went back in."
"Huh, that actually kinda makes sense."
"Even to someone who is delirious from a fever."
"Yep."
