part 7: when views change

Felix's pov:

I slightly opened my eyes. I looked around. What the... where am i? I looked at what i was wearing. These aren't my clothes. And why wasn't i wearing any pants??? And who changed me??? Who brought me here and in whose room am i???

(Hyunjin's hoodie that felix is wearing)

I heard a door opening and looked around. i saw hyunjin walking in... with sweatpants, wet hear and... no shirt. "IEEEH!!" I yelled and immediately covered my eyes.

Hyunjin frowned "what? Never seen a stomach?".

"THAT'S NOT A NORMAL STOMACH!" I yelled whiled pointing at him with my eyes closed.

He chuckled, hesitating if he would play with me or not. "Calm down hm... you just fainted and layed in the cold and rain for a bit" he said as he sat down next to me.

"I'm fine. I'll go now" i said as i got up but suddenly another thunder sound appeared. I screamed and got wattery eyes. Hyunjin looked shocked and got up. He layed his hand on my shoulder "don't worry... you can stay here. You're also too weak now to go home. Just lay down, our maid is making some soup."

"Hmm... but can you please put on a shirt... it feels... weird" i asked without looking at him. It felt wrong cause i liked it. I liked what i saw and i can't focus. I didn't want to look weird.

He hummed and put on a shirt. "You should sleep after you ate your soup mh. So you don't get sick"

I ate my soup and layed down. I wanted to take my dinosaur plush but i didn't want to look like a child. I pulled the covers over me and looked at hyunjin who was getting ready to sleep on the floor.

"Are you sure that i don't have to sleep on the floor?" I asked.

"No... you could've bumped your head" he got up and took a soft blanket and sat down again next to me on the bed. "This will keep you warm", he said as he put the extra blanket over me. "If you're too cold, wake me up".

He got back up and layed down on the floor. How... he seemed like such a jerk earlier. How can he be this sweet. Did i judge him too fast? His hoodie smelled really good. It smelt like vanilla.

"Goodnight sugarcane" he said and i actually blushed very slightly. Normally i hated the nickname but it feels different now. "Goodnight" i said in a soft voice.

Hyunjin's pov:

I couldn't sleep that well cause the floor was damn hard And it was cold. I was laying there, looking at the ceiling for 3 hours. I mean, we have a lot of guest rooms, but i didn't want the maids to do extra work this late. Or maybe that's an excuse... i don't know... whatever.

I tried to sleep but i just couldn't. After a while, i heard soft noises. I first ignored it, but then found out it was the sound of crying. I looked up and saw that felix was crying and shaking in his sleep.

"Felix?" I got up. "Felix??"

I got on my bed and started shaking him. "Felix".

He opened his eyes and just started crying harder. He suddenly burried his face in my chest. It was adorable. His fluffy black hair tickled against my neck. I was a bit shocked but immediately wrapped my arms around him. Our first hug...

I rubbed his back, "what's wrong?", i said

"Always the same nightmares. I can never sleep" he sobbed. "I rarely get to sleep and now i have to be alone at home. They keep haunting me. It kept playing allover again".

I didn't understand a thing that he was saying. "Shhht. Tell me when you're ready okay? But now i'll get you back to sleep", i said.

"No" he cried, "don't let me go back". I let him go and got up.

He looked at me and started crying a bit more. I opened his bag and took out the dino stuffed animal i saw the day i met him. "Look", i sat back down on the bed. "Now this dinosaur has the power to protect you. He will burn down the people who will hurt you and kiss you with his softness. Raaaawr", i said and made the dragon kiss his cheek.

Felix looked at me with a strange gaze but i didn't care. "Why the frown pretty boy. I like you better when you're smiling" hyunjin said with a deep dinosaur like voice. He took the dino's paws and stroked them over his tears. "Wipe those tears away okay?"

I saw a tiiiny little smile crawling up his face. "See?. Now, go back to sleep okay, it'll be okay." I said and got back up.

He suddenly grabbed my arm. He looked away. "Can you eh... can you please stay" he said without looking at me.

I looked at him and got in bed next to him. "Want me to hold you, little boy?" I asked

He was holding his stuffed animal tightly and kept looking away. "Hmm" he nodded softly.

I layed down and opened my arm. "Come" i patted my chest.

He softly turned to me and gently layed his head on my chest. I felt his heart beating fast.

It's cute how flustered he is. "Now good night little man" i said.

"I'm not little" he mumbled.

"You are", i replied and closed my eyes while holding my arm around him.

He was still trembling a little and breathing heavily. I rubbed his arm "try to calm down a bit hm. You're not alone now... 'i'll protect you'" i said.

He looked up at me with a little shock. He then nodded again and started hugging me without saying anything.

I felt a small smile crawling on my face. "Goodnight"

"Hm" he replied.

(Yaaa... another chapter. Yes i got this idea from between us. I first wanted to do it about something my best friend told me, but i wanted this to be something else that i can't explain yet ... en alsje dit leest... tis omda hj ermee moet kunnen helpen... kzal uitleg geveb.
