Chapter 9

May 10th

Emma turns 13 tommorow. When Alison turned 13 it was a nightmare. She became a massive girly girl. Alison is 17 as you all know. Both of my baby girls are teenagers and I just found out last night that I am expecting a beautiful baby boy which is extremely exciting. Puck is overly ecstatic of course. However Jake has finally asked us to come visit in Ferryport. This is the first time we have been back in Ferryport since Alison was captured. Alison is excited to see Trevor Hamstead. Something deep down inside me doesn't feel right though. Ever since Emma turned 12 her magic has become incredibly powerful. Puck loves it but something seems wrong about it. Emma is still her loving self, but I can't help but wonder why she's so powerful. In my experience, people who have a lot of power were born with it for a reason.

Daphne, Peter, their son Eric, Me, Puck, Alison, Emma, and Andrum are on our way to Ferryport Landing for a few days. Wish us luck.

They pulled up to Relda's house and found several of the Everafters waiting on the porch for them. Alison saw Trevor and grinned from ear to ear.

"TREVOR!" Alison yelled excitedly and she opened the car door and ran over to Trevor and Trevor saw her and he let out a laugh and started walking towards her and she jumped into his arms and kissed him. Puck instinctively jumped out of the car and was about to run and stop them when Sabrina stopped him.

"She's 17 Puck and he's actually human because of a problem with his disguise. Calm down. He saved her life from Pinnochio." Sabrina sighed and Puck frowned and gave in.

"Come on." Puck sighed and they all walked into Relda's house and found Snow, Charming, Trevor, Mags, Hamstead, Bess, Jake, Veronica, Henry, and Basil waiting for them with the Book of Everafters.

"The book has predicted something." Jake sighed sadly and everyone gave Sabrina and Puck a very sympathetic look. Puck knew something was wrong.

"OO! Let me see!" Emma yelled excitedly and everyone didn't really know what to do as Emma rushed passed them and looked at the book and her face went from excited to unsure. "That's me." Sabrina heard Puck slightly gasp and then Puck ran over to look at the book and he pulled it away from Emma and looked at it.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Puck cried.

Trevor put his arm around Alison who was worried.

"Puck, we don't know, all we know is that we think when she turns 13 things are going to start happening. When a page makes itself, it usually makes it about one day before the event happens nowadays. For some reason after Alison went into the Scarlet Hand fortress everything has been predicting things that would happen." Jake explained and Puck looked down at the picture of Emma fighting against some kind of wizard.

"Wait a minute. I know this book." Emma said and she picked it up and closed it and saw it. "Yeah when Ali was captured I was hanging out with Aunt Daphne and I found this book sitting on a table close to the blade and I went to open the book but the book opened by itself and the pages started to flip as they glowed and the book hit my hand and made my hand hit the vorpal blade and that's how I got cut." Emma explained.

"Isnt Emma a caster Puck?" Daphne asked and Puck nodded as he was thinking about the story his youngest told and then Emma opened the book back to where her picture was and she sat down and then moved her hand in a circle over the book.

"I ask of you, book of new and old, to tell me what, my future will hold. I ask of you, book of old and new, to tell me what, I have to do." Emma sighed and then a golden light went from her hand to the picture in the book of everafter.
