How you meet:

You had applied for a job at an office space to work as a receptionist. Almost immediately you got the interview and was asked to come into the office for it the next day.

The next day came quickly and right now you were walking up the stairs in the office building to get to where you needed to go.

After the rather long flight of stairs I had finally made it to a room with someone stood outside, I guessed this is where I was meant to be and approached them.
"Hello sir... I'm here for my interview and I'm guessing your the person I'm needing to see?"

He looked me up and down before nodding and gesturing me to follow him into a room behind him.
I followed him into the room and looked around in awe, it was a rather beautiful place. The large windows held the reflection of the busy city under us.
"The city is rather beautiful isn't it y/n"

My head turned to the man who was watching me in a daze, "it is, it's better at night though." He hummed and sat down at a desk I had only now just realised was there before pointing to a seat in-front of it.
"Please sit, we have little time in this interview."
I nodded and sat down in the chair he pointed at. "Thank you for giving me this chance mr...?" A cocky grin appeared on his face "of course .. and it's Bateman. Patrick Bateman"

"That's a pretty cool name,"
He snickered at me, "Earning yourself some brownie points I see." I laughed and his face morphed into one of curiosity before he spoke once more. "Now let's get onto the interview." I nodded, agreeing with him and offering him a kind smile.

"And... that seems about it." I smile, more nervous this time. "Soo.. how did I do?" He frowned at my purposefully slurred word and I quickly regained my posture and remembered this man was not my friend but my employer.

"Well, I would say that you did pretty well. Some instances you can be pretty immature but I'm sure we can work around that." A quiet sigh escaped your lips, one you were sure he heard as he turned to you with an unreadable expression on his features.

"Your hired."

A bright but professional smile makes its way onto your face as you both stand up, he walks towards you and holds out a hand to shake, which you do after putting some hand sanitizer on. Let's just say this guy looked rather clean and when he saw your sweaty hands you could see how disgusted he was.

How they feel about you:

Firstly, he took you to be a rather kind and gentle soul. Very innocent.

But he was quick to notice how nervous and quiet you were. You didn't try to make much small talk in the interview which didn't really bother him in the slightest but it still made him wonder. Did you know him?
Patrick was a well known man but you just didn't even act like you knew him which shocked him a bit to much.

Safe to say you made him quite angry at the start but he slowly starts to like you more and more as time passes on.

How you feel about them:

Instantly you could sense that he was a clean and rather respected man.
You did infact recognise the name Bateman but were way to nervous to even think about that right now.

The look of disgust he gave you everytime he saw you sweat, or do anything slightly dirty just proved that he was a clean man. And in a way that made you relieved. There weren't many clean men out there, especially in New York. He was kind to you. Rather soft and gentle with his words for such an intimidating looking man and that made you attracted to him even more so.
