"Pei Ming/Idiot Pei!?!" both Shi Qingxuan and Xie Lian said at the same time
"Yup it's me" Pei Ming said ignoring the last bit from Qingxuan he then continued "By the way you do realize this is your brother's car and I was waiting for him and Ling Wen to come back with our food and I saw you enter and start talking like I wasn't even there and you talked about Xie Lian's crush and I didn't know when to step up and say I was here until now" he finished breathlessly
Then with a shocked/scared face Shi QIngxuan asked " You mean to say we left Ge and Ling-Jie alone in the middle of night without a way back?!"
"I mean yes? how else do you expect me to put it? your brother will be livid at me and just me because you're his precious little brother" Pei Ming said rather calmly
But Xie Lian then interrupted their conversation with a sharp twist and a u-turn back to the library/café. For the first time in a long time Xie Lian felt kind of embarrassed? no that's impossible he hasn't felt that in a long time.As his mind wandered to all the bad memories but then got reminded to the fact that he was driving and not only was his life in his hands but his best friend and their brother's friend so he sped up a little and arrived at the destination(whew, almost turned a little angsty there)
When they got there they saw a very pissed off Shi Wudu and tired looking Ling Wen standing there with so many things that one would think there heading over to a household of 8 kids to feed.
"PEI MING YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!!" Shi Wudu Yelled so loud the moment he saw the car pull up
But as soon as he saw his precious little brother he stopped cursing and started to scold Ling Wen for cursing with a child nearby. Ling Wen on the other hand had her patience run thin through the events of the day simply nodding her head towards Shi Wudu and walked into the car closed the door and fell asleep right there and then.
Xie Lian who just wanted to go home so he could go to sleep just shrugged grabbed a few pastries from Shi Wudu and took himself and Shi Qingxuan to their actual car (he checked) and started to drive home
(On the other side of town~)
"Jiang-xiong help me out of this pothole" Nie Huaisang whined he was talking to Jiang Cheng when he stepped into the accursed pothole.
Now knowing the ever curious reader you are your curious what are they doing so late at night especially without Wei Wuxian?
To answer your question, sneaking into Nie Huaisang's bedroom because they left the house. When they were having a hangout(sleepover!) to talk about*cough* Jiang Cheng's love life *cough* school things when they decided it would be a good idea to leave the house not knowing what they would do if they managed to successfully leave the Nie house and are now making there way to the house however Nie Huaisang couldn't help relish how the former grumpy Jiang cheng is doing better and smiling and laughing.
But the moment they entered the house through the window they saw his Dage staring at them with furious eyes as he wanted to ask why the hell they left in the middle of the night, luckily before things escalate Jin Guangyao appeared to calm things down and had advise them to run to Nie Huaisang's room if they want to live.
So they did just that.But the moment Jiang Cheng closed the door they both burst out in laughter
"Why did your brother immediately calm down immediately when Jin Guangyao came!?!" Jiang Cheng said in between his giggles
"I don't know!" Huaisang answered catching his breath
They calmed down after awhile and then continued to talk about things as they are the best of friends when they finally got tired and fell asleep not realizing someone was watching them the whole time
That said person walked into the room put a blanket around Jiang Cheng and left Nie Huaisang cold without any blankets.Which lead to Huaisang to be confused as he had yet to fall asleep and saw this whole thing unravel
