"Wei Wuxian!" Jiang Cheng barked, as he honked the horn of the car waiting for Wei Wuxian. "Hurry your ass up, or we'll be late to Jin Ling's recital"
"Don't worry, Didi I'm coming. Why would I want to be late to my favorite nephew's recital?" Wei Wuxian said with a wicked grin on his face as he shut the door
"He's your only nephew, dumbass" Jiang Cheng grumbled, speeding up the car so they could reach the building on time.
"Oh yes, I forget my cute little Didi isn't going to settle down and give me another nephew" Wei Wuxian paused giving it more thought before saying, " Or a niece, I wouldn't mind all that much"
"Like you can talk you're just as single as me" Jiang Cheng said without a single hint of hesitation as he hit Wei Wuxian right where it hurt.
" I have my reasons!"
"Don't bother, for all your charm and talk you are the most oblivious person I know when it comes to flirting"
"I don't wanna hear it from you, you're just as oblivious as me. You couldn't tell if someone liked you even if they slapped your ass!"
"Wei Wuxian!" Jiang Cheng yelled, as he parked the car with a blush creeping up on his nape.
" Sorry, sorry, sorry I forgot my Didi doesn't like talking about shameful things like that" Wei Wuxian said with a mock apologetic face.
" You say stuff like this in the primary school with children and their parents I'll skin you alive" Jiang Cheng hissed as they opened the door to the auditorium to take their seats.
While looking for Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan, they continued bickering so they weren't paying much attention.
Which meant by the time the audience went silent and the lights dimmed they still haven't found Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan so they had to take their seats in the closest place possible.
They had sat down next to 2 very well presentable young men who look quite similar but the vibe they each gave was completely different from the other
One had such a stone cold facial expression that it was almost unbelievable.
The other looked so sweet with a natural smile even though they to be relaxed
What made these young men even weirder is that they seemed to get along with each other.
To the point where the happy one could read the rbf's (resting bitch face) mood by just looking at them when nothing about them changed

So during the recital instead of watching their nephew, Wei Wuxian kept drooling over the rbf one while Jiang Cheng ignored (made googly eyes) at the smiley one
And yes, to answer your question, at some point they did realize they'll get caught staring so they did stop and actually pay attention to the recital

For the last 6 Minutes
The recital had ended and they realized they weren't really there and zoned out most of the time.
But the other didn't know that so they would play along to the fact that they were paying more attention to a hot man then their nephew
Eventually they found Jiang Yanli and her husband and was showering Jin Ling in compliments
Afterwards when they all had said their goodbyes Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian were headed towards their car when all of a sudden-
Do their eyes deceive them!?!
