Grain's pov

I woke up back on Hermitcraft. I could still feel the pain from falling off the cliff. I wanted Scar to win not me but no. I felt tears run down my face. A message appeared on my com from my soul mate.

Grian《okay scar see you soon》

I dried my tears and brushed my hair and tried to brush my wings but couldn't reach the higher places. "Maybe Scar can help me," I thought.

Scar's pov

It was a hard night without grian. I just hope he didn't kill himself. Thought scar. I was worried for my soul mate. I got a feeling and texted grian hoping he was hear.

I waited for a response it felt like hours though it was only a few minutes. I heard a ding and saw a message that read

Grian《okay scar see you soon》

I made sure I was fully dressed and left using an ender pearl and chorus fruit.

Grian was outside waiting for Scar to show up when he did grian ran over and hugged Scar. "It's okay it's over now," said Scar to grian. "why did you let me win why" said grian. "I couldn't kill you I still can't kill you even if you have infinite lives now," said Scar holding his soul mate. Grian buried his face against scars chest cuddling him. "Looks like you need help pruning," said Scar. Scar gently touched where some of the feathers were messy. "Can you help me with it I can't reach the top and some of the middle parts of my wings" said grian. Scar picks up grian carrying him. Scar had one hand under his legs and the other was on his back. Grian blushed when he realized what he said. Scar started to brush his mate's wings hearing him purr. Scar started to feel overprotective of Grain while helping him with his wings. "If anyone dares hurt him I'll kill them no matter what," thought Scar smiling as he kept brushing. Grain was enjoying getting his wings looking nice but he felt overprotective of Scar almost like he was in Double Life. Grian had multiple thoughts in his head but one that stood out was someone watching us. "Grian are you okay," asked Scar. "Yeah I am it's just do you get this feeling someone is watching you," asked Grian. "Yeah I feel it too but I'll protect you let's go see who we can prank," said Scar. "Ren we have to prank Ren," said Grian. Sure it was not the best idea to prank someone who wanted you dead made an army to do so and failed at it. The two of them were hiding in his base wearing a creeper costume. "Finally I can put this stuff up," said Ren opening a chest. Grain and Scar walked behind him and hissed. "AHHHHHHH CREEPERS" yelled Ren. Laughter was soon heard and the creepers reviled themselves as grian and Scar. "We had to pay back for red desert," said Grian. "Okay you got me but don't do that I almost had a heart attack," said Ren. The three of them made up and talked for a bit before the two soulmates left. "G I was thinking do you want to move in together," asked Scar. "Yes I was thinking about that when you were helping me with my wings," said Grian. Scar looked at Grian and knew he was not lying. "Looks like we are soulmates and you don't have to worry about me dying," said Scar. "I have to worry about getting your stuff when you die," said Grain. The two walked into the forest and settled in a small clearing. "I'm glad you're not working on something and taking a break," said Scar. "I turn everything to work don't I," said Grain. "Yes but in a fun cute way," said Scar. Scar put his arm around Grain's waist and pulled him closer to himself. "Your too cute for this world," said Scar. Grian giggled at this knowing he was the "cute guy" his sidekick. "You're too hot for this world too," said Grain with the most innocent grin. "You little gremlin you copied my pickup line," said Scar laughing.  "No, I finished it," said grian smiling. Just then a twig snapped and both shot up with their bows out. "who is there" yelled Scar. Grian got ready to shoot his arrow. Something was thrown at the two a smoke bomb made in one place in Japan. Grian pushed Scar away with himself too. "That was a smoke bomb from Japan," said grian. "How did you know it was from Japan and that it was a smoke bomb," asked Scar. "I'll explain later but right now let's go," said grian. The two took off towards xisuma place. "Gri, scar what's going on? "Check to see if someone is here that should not be" said grian. Xisuma did not question it and checked and there was. "Dose anyone know a Sam," asked Xisuma. "put everyone on high alert and tell them to come here and I'll explain everything," said grian.
