Mark bolted towards the elevator, but there was no Donghyuck in sight. He sighed as he pressed the button, but he heard footsteps behind him. The person tapped his shoulder, and Mark looked back.
"Hyuck, good morning!"
Donghyuck waved at him cutely, in Mark's honest opinion. "Wait for me in front of the school when you get there," Mark said. Hyuck smiled and nodded his head. When the elevator opened, they went their separate ways.
The whole bus ride, Mark was excited to meet his new friend. He hoped the bus didn't make Hyuck wait for him too long. Once he stepped out of the bus and spotted Donghyuck, he ran towards him. "Hyuck!"
"Hey, mackerel."
They smiled at each other before walking alongside one another, Donghyuck following Mark.
"So what are your hobbies, Hyuck?"
"Hm, I really like singing and dancing," he answered.
"Oh, I like playing the guitar. Maybe we can do a duet sometime."
"That would be so fun!" Hyuck said as he looked to the side. Mark followed his gaze, and it led him to Donghyuck's boyfriend. He looked back at Donghyuck, who kind of looked scared. Mark wanted to save the situation, knowing what Donghyuck said about Renjun's jealousy the other day. "Hey, I'm Mark, Johnny's friend."
Renjun looked at Mark, grabbed Donghyuck's arm, and pulled him close. "Okay," he said before dragging his boyfriend somewhere.
"Bye, I guess..."
Mark walked inside the building and saw Johnny with his girlfriend. He didn't want to bother them, so he grabbed his things from his locker and went to class early. Renjun seemed mad. Hopefully Donghyuck was okay.
