It was graduation day, and Donghyuck and Mark hadn't seen each other all morning. Donghyuck went to school together with his friends that Mark had met a while after they started dating. Currently, Mark was with Johnny, who was complaining about the fact that he missed his girlfriend.

"You're going to see her. She's just with her friends, bro."

"I know, but I miss her. You wouldn't understand, Markie. You're too young," Johnny dramatically said.

"You're not that much older than me. And I do know how you feel. I miss my boyfriend too. But I won't constantly complain," he joked.

"That's because you don't talk much anyway, Mark."

Mark sighed in defeat, but his face brightened instantly. Johnny took a "wild" guess and assumed it was because of Donghyuck. And he was right. Donghyuck ran to Mark, who opened his arms for the boy. Them hugging almost made Johnny puke. He hated PDA. Well, unless it was him and his girlfriend.

"Wow, this is disgusting," Chenle said.

  "Donghyuck, you're making me homophobic."

"Why would you date me if you were homophobic, Min?"

"Shut up, Jeno. Let me be a hater," he said. His boyfriend shrugged with a smile.

"Mark, did you have a good morning?"

"Yes, I did. How about you, baby?"

"Well, my day has only become better. Thanks to your smile and presence."

"This is so unfair," Johnny whined. Yes, he missed his girlfriend. He missed her a lot. He looked like the type of guy to be cool about everything. The type to have a girlfriend that was obsessed with him while he just stood there with a smile, but no. He was needy. Both him and his girlfriend were all over each other. He didn't doubt that he loved her more than she could ever love him. She was his everything.

Suddenly, someone came behind him and covered his eyes. "Guess who?"

Johnny immediately turned around and hugged her. "May," he smiled while swaying slightly, holding her tightly in his arms. She giggled and held him with a warm smile.

"Oh my gosh, they're at it again," May's friend, Jeongmi, said.

  "Always at it."

"Yumin, you act like you and Chaeyun don't do PDA all the time."

"Okay, but we're not dating, Miya."  Miya rolled her eyes at the two girls who had their arms linked. Not dating my ass, she thought. They planned to move to Europe together. What's not romantic about that? She had a suspicion that they'd move there so they could get married.

"Wow, there are a lot of people here," Mark said in a small voice. Haechan squeezed his arm to calm him down.

"Mackerel, it's okay. I'm here," the boy said with a smile. Mark smiled and tried to clear his mind. Well, he already knew May, Jeno, Jaemin, and Chenle. Plus, he had already slightly met Yumin once when May introduced them. She wanted to get him a girlfriend because Johnny was worried about him. But Mark was too nervous to talk and made an excuse that he needed to go to class. So, there were only three new people. Yeah, three wasn't a big number.

"The ceremony is going to start soon. We should go in," Chenle said after looking at his watch. They all nodded and walked to the small stadium they had inside the school. They all sat there waiting for it to start, and it did. They did an unnecessarily long speech before calling up the first person. One by one, each senior went up to receive their diploma and shake the principal's hand.

Johnny took pictures of his girlfriend and his friend. He was so proud of them both. Mark took pictures of his friend as well. Along with Donghyuck and May, whom he had become friends with way long ago.

After two or three hours, the ceremony was over. Everyone went to say bye to their classmates and friends. Donghyuck cried, which made Mark cry, but he tried to hide it. So he hugged the boy to comfort him. Donhyuck's face was buried in Mark's neck, and Mark was stroking the boy's hair while crying as well. Then it hit him. He would most likely never see most of these people ever again. This was it. He wouldn't see all the teachers he hated or all the teachers he loved.

Then he thought about Donghyuck, who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They lived on the same floor, so they'd be seeing a lot of each other still. They both had planned to go to college together and get stable jobs to save up for an apartment. Luckily, they were accepted into the same college.

For Johnny, he was moving to America with his girlfriend. They had saved up money for the expenses with the help of both their parents who were very supportive of the decision. But that meant he wouldn't be able to see his best friend in a long time. This made him sad, so he cried even more while squeezing his boyfriend tighter.

"I'm so glad we've finished, but I'm still sad."

  "Me too, Hyuck. Me too."

Donghyuck looked up at Mark with glossy eyes. "You'll be with me, though, right?"

"Yes. We're going to the same college, baby. I'll be right here with you every step of the way. And one day, we can move to America and get married," Mark smiled with tears still trickling down his face.

"Promise to be with me forever."

"I promise." And they sealed that promise with a sweet kiss.
