"Hello" josh smiled looking at me

"whats good here bren?" Dayl asked and the boys looked to brendan for an answer

He cleared his throat and said " i dont know" and made they boys and myself laugh

" i recommend the apple pie, its my favourite" i said suggestively

" yea thats sound good, boys?" Cian asked

He got a few muffled "yeah" and "okay"

"6 of your finessed apple pies please" he stated

I wrote their order on my notepad and walked over to get the apple pies

I noticed out of the corner occasionally one of them looking at me and i tried but failed not to blush

Thousands of thoughts were going tough my head
Why where they here?
Im going to mess up
Dont mess up
God brendan looks hot today

Jen's voice interrupted my thoughts

"How are you getting on?" She said smirking while taking the heated apple pies out of the microwave

"Why did you mention that group of boys were hometown " i said while scooping out vanilla ice cream and placing it near the now heated apple pie slice on 6 plates

"Because i know how much you like them and i wanted to see your reaction" she says laughing

"Wow gee thanks jen" i say sarcastically
And take three plates at a time

"Here you go, be careful its hot" i said placing the pies in the table

I got a few muffles of "thank you"s
And went to get the other three plates

"I'll come back when you're done for the plates"

You maybe thinking "i thought this was a bakery shop" it is but its also a cafe, jen wanted more business so she opened a small cafe, its quite smart i think

I looked at the clock and i have half an hour left, thank god because then i can enjoy my birthday not that i amn't but id prefer if i wasnt working

Then again i am happy i had to work today because hometown are in the cafe which you dont see everyday

A cough interrupted my weird thoughts i looked up and brendan was standing right infront of me

Okay isabelle dont do anything stupid

" sorry i didnt see you there, is everything okay?" I ask trying not to freak out , well out loud anyway my mind has gone to another world

"Could we get a pot of tea?" He said smiling
Oh crap i forgot to give them drinks
"tea, you want tea right im so sorry i forgot" i say as i put boiling water into a pot and 2 teabags

Who forgets to give hometown drinks ugh im so stupid

I think as i turn around with the pot of tea in my hand

" haha your not stupid" brendan says

Oh no ugh

"I, i said that out loud?" I asked cringing

"Ah yea you mumbled it " he said scratching the back of his neck

Oh god, is there anything this boy cant do to make me weak at the knees

" ill bring it to the table sure" he suggests

"No its okay i can bring it over "

"At least leave me carry the cups?"

Why does he want to help so much
I think as i hand him the mugs

"Im so sorry i forgot to get you a drink " i apologise to the five boys sitting at the table

"Nonsense love , its fine" ryan said smiling

Oh god ryan just called me love knowing me im probably blushing like a red tomato

I turned around to walk back over to the counter since i heard the bell hanging over the door ding meaning someone has come into the bakery

Next thing i know theres a crash sound, broken pieces of mugs on the floor and a shocked looking brendan standing next to the pieces

" i, im so sorry , i , it , im sorry" he said really fast

i bent down to pick up the broken mug and a shriek was going through my ears

Oh no not now

" you are so clumsy isabelle!" The monster said

The monster being my bosses daughter laura , she goes to my school everyone calls her the angel since everyone thinks she is one

But shes clearly not

"Whats all this racket?" Jen asked coming into the room

"Isabelle dropped all those mugs, she should be fired" laura spat
