The figure sat down in seiza, before shining, casting an ethereal glow around the figure, causing Karasu to look away, lest she turns blind.

When the light died down, it turned into a very familiar person.

Her mother.

"M-mother?" Karasu asked, lifting a hand, and pointing at her dead mother in disbelief.

"H-huh?" Karasu looked around, confused, it was as if the voice was everywhere, all at once, reverberating in her head.

"What will happen to me now?" Asking shakily, tears dripping from her eyes, looking as if in defeat.
