The tension was high, but the evening was cool,
Melissa was pissed of how Claire took David for a fool.
From the distance she saw David talking to his friend Shawn,
As he intervened to tell him what's been going on.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but we really need to talk."
Melissa sternly said
"Umm, okay umm, Shawn we'll catch up later okay."
David stated
"Sure no prob, just hit me up okay."
Shawn replied
"What's going on Mel?"
David curiously asked
"You might wanna sit down."
She suggested
He took a seat, as she give him the news,
With every backstory and all the previews.
David was speechless, she could see he was hurt,
But he quickly accepted the damage for he knew what he was worth.
He assured her, that he was not gonna cry,
As long as she is happy, her heart he wouldn't pry.
His eyes filled with tears, which wouldn't flow,
He shook his head and kept saying No
From around the corner, next to the smoothie shack,
Pulled up to their feet, A Black Cadillac.
"David Delafrente?"
"Yes, that's me."
He replied
"I'm Carlos, this is Alejandro; we need you to come with us"
Carlos stated
"Excuse me, who are you guys!!"
Melissa exclaimed
They slowly moved their jackets and revealed their pistols as they demanded that he entered the vehicle.
"You're gonna have to shoot me cause I'm not going anywhere."
David stated
"Shoot her!!"
Carlos commanded
"Wait, wait, wait!!! Don't hurt her I'll go"
As he stepped into the vehicle.
"You have no problem getting shot, but you don't want the innocent getting hurt, I like him already, he stands up for his own."
Carlos stated
as he slammed the door
and drove off never to be seen again...
