"KEEP PUSHING THEM BACK!" A beautiful white haired woman yelled as she slew 10 Noxian soldiers with her red war trident.
"JIANG JUN! WE'RE ALMOST THROUGH WITH THEM!" A soldier yelled as he advised the woman.
"DO NOT LET THEM GET ANY CLOSER TO OUR FAMILIES!" Another soldier yelled
"HAO! WE SHALL NOT YIELD!" The woman yelled as she slew another 10 Noxians with one slash and she let out an infectious roar to her men. Upon hearing this, they were immediately reinvigorated as they rallied and fought with even more ferocity.
"RETREAT! RUN!" A Noxian general yelled as he ordered the rest of his forces to retreat and within a few moments, the Ionians led by the woman held their ground and watched as the Noxians fled.
"Bai Hua, they are retreating. Should we pursue?" A fellow general asked her, and she shook her head.
"The Lijiang forest is not an ideal environment for us to pursue them, Sun Jiang. They could have traps, or more troops stationed in them for all we know. For now, let us head back. AND CELEBRATE OUR VICTORY!" Bai Hua started calmly before yelling to cheer her men, and they roared in approval of their capable leader.
"Even though our forces are small with only 10,000 troops, we will always win with you leading, general." A general noted happily while offering a drink to Bai Hua who shook her head.
"No, not at all. It's because of our training and efforts that we've achieved our accomplishments. More importantly, we all function as a whole, and not in pieces." Bai Hua humbly responded and her men cheered.
"Should we consider recruiting more troops for our Dragoons, high general? 10,000 has served us well, but it's better to be on the safer side, right?" Sun Jiang asked his friend happily and she shook her head.
"I know what you mean, friend, but there is a reason why I have us limited to 10,000. Everyone fights with the strength of 10 men, and our recruitment process is strict. Even though our force is smaller than most armies, we are also stronger as well. Due to politics and the other Ionian territories, we have no choice but to keep it like this. I had planned on upping our numbers to 20,000 over time, but not now with how the other territories will act."
"Bai Hua, why don't you dig into your family's resources?" Another general asked and she frowned.
"My family's hands are... full... Liu Feng." Bai Hua spoke in an uncomfortable tone and they got the message as they dropped the subject.
"A TOAST! Come on guys, we won! Just relax a little!" A stern looking man replied in a relaxed and content tone.
"We'll do just that, Cao You." Bai Hua replied in a content tone as she held her bowl of wine up, and everyone did the same.
"TO A HARD FOUGHT VICTORY!" Bai Hua yelled with conviction and everyone cheered as they drank. After doing so, everyone relaxed and drank a decent amount of wine, but not too much as they needed to stay vigilant. While this happened, Bai Hua slipped away and went to a nearby stream of water that was crystal clear and reflected the image of the moon itself.
